Carbon Filtration

Hey all
Im looking for a good way that someone has found to use one 6 x24 filter to do two rooms that are 5x10 but they are seperate rooms 6 ft apart. Ive racked my brain and cant seem to come up with anything. btw both rooms have co2 systems so they need to be somewhat sealed rooms so as not to lose all the co2. thanks for any advice in advance.

Use a wye connection to connect the 2 rooms, connect the wye to a strong fan, and blow into the carbon filter. Use dampers for each room's outtake if you want to save on co2. And use a prefilter inside of your carbon filter. It would be a good idea to make a quick disconnect or use worm clamps to connect the carbon filter, because you'll need to clean the prefilter every few months for maximum performance.

If you would rather suck into the filter than blow into it, use a 6" y connecting the two rooms, up stream of the y put the filter suspended/sitting in a rubbermaid or sealed/half-sealed box. Made a nifty diagram for you.

Put an intake into room 1.
Connect 8" duct between room 1 and 2 somewhere other than that intake.
Put filter with fan in room 2.
Duct the fan on the filter to blow back to the intake on room 1.

Never tried anything like this but seems like it would work and preserve your co2 between the rooms. Also might balance it out so u only need 1 controller.

Not trying to hyjack, feel free to delete if ur still looking for your answer, but i wanted more elaboration on the half sealed box method. I've heard of the tote box lung, does that work pretty well? I have a 12x12x10 room and a 10"x36 filter just recirculating air with a fan on top of it, it's working great so far for early flower but worried about how to vent if bigger smells become a problem. This is a co2 controlled room without negative pressure.
