The funny (sad) thing about what you wrote, is that the same thing could said about capitalism depending on your point of view. Both promise the best solution to social stability and general quality of life, and so far both have fallen short. Scary thing about the Chinese is that they are almost designed to be ruled by an elite, in this case the CCP. so they really don't mind communism, except for some malcontents who are easy enough to dispose of. One thing for sure is that China, and it's Communist agenda are going to rule the worlds economy for a long time to come.

Certainly China has socialist elements at somewhere. But it's hard to shoehorn them into one type.

They're capitalist in a true sense more so than anyone else in many ways.

Coming from a guy who still claims victory from the time you copy pasted half a wikipedia page that your sort of looked at the other half of, I would say you have the whole thing backwards. You relished thoroughly in your "victory" and I let you enjoy it while I made fun of you and you didn't even know it.

The validity of what a person says should be evaluated on the merits of what was said or the idea itself that was espoused.

I try hard not to dismiss a valid idea even if the person saying it is generally not somebody I agree with.
