I bought a $60 air pump for DWC but now I'm not gonna grow DWC. It seems easier, but it's not. I admit once you get things dialed in a dwc it's pretty damn simple but idk, drip systems have always been as fast and I don't have to worry about water temperature, light leaks in the water or how to empty the res without disturbing th plants. Idk,dwc is fine, just not the holy grail hydro system.

OK. Yea I think I'm goin to do DWC for veg, and then transplant them into some bigger shit for flower.
veg- 6, T12's @ 6500k

Two problems...
-My DWC pots are 3'' pots, which I hope will be enough for veg and flower, even though I plan on transplanting and flowering in larger buckets.
-My seeds wont germinate. Bastards.

ok u have done well with light next step for light upgrade get a metal halide for veg cuz its the boss for veggin and get any of the stuff here for reflective http://discount-hydro.com/categories/Mylar-&-Wall-Coverings/ and dont get 1mil thickness its impossible to work with. also make sure to take the film off ur light reflector before using it. and an duct ben greatly reduces cfm n u need much more cfm for a room that size u on crack for thinkin 200cfm would work no offenseu spent 300$ on a trimeter but skimpimg on a grow tent wtf mn

Aw thats sucks dude... $100 on mirrors?? That would've been money better spent on lighting, looks like your mirrors are on flat white paint walls, which work great....

Idealy you would have spent some extra cash on a switchable ballast,lotsa people go HPS all the way through but ig your starting from scratch spend the money now,


that large hole you cut in you wall was very much a bad move, luckly sheet rock is cheap.your fan is at best 90cfms, AT BEST, but im guessing its 40cfms, how many cubic feet is your grow spaces looks like a good size,its gunna take along time to refresh with that fan, were is air coming in? i home not from the same place you stick all that hot air,

3" net pot is fine,im guessing you lid will fail before the net pot.

DONT transplant hyro,(maby in another system,maybe) you want nice big fuzzy roots, so your gunna try and pull all those roots through a 3" hole? and then shove them back down another 3" hole?DEAD PLANTS EVERY WHERE!
