Lol. Pretty sure that is run by the people I was talking about. They did the one 2 years ago. Wasn't exactly a cup per se, it was this. And legit. The hotel is fine with people puffing in their rooms. It's like a roving cup/party, with a convention in the banquet hall.

popo were selectively picking out the youngest tokers at the edges of the hash bash this year. And they didn't touch the senior smokers, just kids... but they were there arresting and ticking unfortunately. be careful at the hash bash always!

Kind of surprised I didn't get in trouble at Hash Bash. I mean after going to the cannabis cup and not being allowed to smoke, Hash Bash was slightly more relaxed. I was a little uncomfortable hitting my bong as a cop rode past me on his bike.

I was just kind of disappointed to see so many people sitting around smoking while other people were working to get signatures to legalize cannabis. Seems like most people weren't willing to sign the petition... Not saying Hash Bash should be dedicated to cannabis activism but it would have been nice to see more people willing to sign the petition.

I agree with many here that Ann Arbor should be the location for next High Times MMMP venture.

Furthermore, I believe Hash Bash 2013 would be an awesome time to start an annual High Times event. The 42nd annual Hash Bash will be held Saturday April 6, 2013 at high noon followed by an evening at the Monroe Street Fair.

As far as governmental issues Ann Arbor has very lenient laws regarding the possession of marijuana–a $25 fine for the first offense, a $50 fine for the second offense, and a $100 fine for the third (and subsequent) offense—and is a simple civil infraction rather than a criminal offense, such as misdemeanor or felony. This is why the Hash Bash began and became a national legend. I cannot think of a better place!

Sad to say, but the Hash Bash really needs such a boost :-( Attendance had a resurgence following the 2009 medical marijuana's victory in Michigan, but has already hit it's peak.

The 2009 Hash Bash on April 4th had an estimated 1600 attendees.

The 2010 Hash Bash on April 3rd had an estimated 5000 attendees.

The 2011 Hash Bash on Apr 2nd had an estimated 6000-6500 attendees.

The 2012 Hash Bash on April 7th had an estimated 5500 attendees.

What do you think guys, could we do it here? We need to start with a High Times write in campaign to "Save the Hash Bash 2013".
