Can you dry 3 days cure 1 week

Can you get away with only drying 3 days and cure 1 week?
Of course you can. If you're the only one smoking it!

Will it smell and taste like crap?
Of course it will!

Anyone can just throw some shit together and eat it, in the blink of an eye - no matter how bad it tastes, it's still food. So, yeah, you can "get away with it". Most people would prefer a gourmet meal, prepared by a "no-nonsense" chef. Pot is like food in that way!

Thank you dude. That actually sounds alot like what happened. The smell made me frown all the way until I used it up. I had the idea that it would get better if I kept it jarred. Nope

Most of the time i cure for 2 wks....On the other hand I like to take a few buds and water cure them....So if u want to read up on it and give it a try its really easy...Soak for a week lay them out or hang up and in 24 hrs they will be ready smoke its really cool and a good mind fuck.....Good luck and happy token

Old thread but/- Just hanged/dried a plant for 4 days and cured for 4 days in glass mason jar. Conditions are super hot and I have ac in my house for the drying/curing and still dealing with hot temps and bud felt “dry enough” today. Just rolled a joint and wouldn’t burn, too wet still. If you accomplished this with a good smoke in less than two weeks I’d be amazed lol

I dry in 3 days with fans and a dehumidifier going at 50% until the stim of the bud almost wants to break. then I jar it and check every day for a week if the moisture level is high I put it back in the drying room for an hour if low I leave it to sit with the lid open for 4 hours tossing the weed every hour. I have done this every harvest with no issues the smell and flavor is there its not harsh and never once had a complaint. I learned this method from medical dispensaries this is their quick to shelf method. you do lose a little flavor and smell but not enough the average smoker would notice.

Not if you wanna smoke it..
