Can the Jar be too big for curing?

I have a noobie question. Doing my first harvest since 2012. I may have overestimated my ability :D and may have ordered jars that are way too big because of how the mouth seals. That means i'm expecting once try to have only half the oversized jar full. Is this bad for curing? I would like to keep my plants in separate jars even though they are mostly Vortex. I'm worried that too much air in the jar might be a problem to curing. Maybe not. Need your help.

I have found that a container can be too big for curing. Weather your doing the old school burping or just throwing a boveda pack in.

if it’s a huge container even if you put a lid on it there can be a lot of air space that that will continue to dry out your herb until it all hits a equilibrium.

One point to add. Larger jars compact faster and harder if even packed loose. 1qt masons half full is my ratio of choice.
