Please see attached picture, no issues so far with this grow and nothing super of note, but I have no idea why the leaves are twisting. This is my first grow and i’m running four autos under 300w led in ff ocean forest with dry amendments.

FFOF is a strong medium. Dry amendments meaning nutes? You probably won't need nutes for a while. Make sure your soil drains well. Fold in some perlite or coco when you transplant.

Also that container is fucking massive for a seedling.

I bought a mix of dry amendments and mixed them with ocean forest for the bottom 1/3 and the top 2/3 are just OF so as not to burn the young plants. I have them in 3 gal because I wanted to run them in one container start to finish.

I've grown only autos for a year+ EVERY seedling i planted directly in FF ocean/forest mix twisted. Too hot. Next time put a plug of seed starter in middle about size of double shot glass, you will have better start. Be light on nutes, autos are finicky. Good luck!

Okay wow this is by far the best advice I have gotten, I think that may be my problem then because other than the twisting the seedlings look very healthy.

People Always say ocean forest and happy frog are hot but my seedling mix has more nutrients than both of them. It's more along the lines of strawberry fields honestly.

I know i have had mediocre luck with FF. Whole grows were troublesome. Outcome was good.

One of my biggest early mistakes was confusing light burn with nute problem. Autos seem to like less light.

In my experience, Fox Farm soil always causes problems and comes with fungus gnat larvae. I have, however, seen friends use it with great success, but every time they just ran it with the 3-part Fox Farm nutrients.

To everyone saying that they’re not fans of FF, do you all have any recs for soil brands? I don’t really want to deal with liquid nutes yet because i’m new so I just use natures living soil dry amendments and make a super soil blend for the bottom 1/3, then the top 2/3 is just straight whatever potting soil i’m using

I've never had a prob from any of the FF line. I've been using their soil for over 10 years. I mix Light warrior with OF and works great. I've used them alone and together and isn't much difference. If anything seeds started in just light warrior goes a bit slower.

I made the switch from FFOF to roots organic soil a few grows ago have had much better luck.

The soil I use is very particular and only in a fee spots but any well amended soil that's cooked long enough to not be steamy when it's delivered is good to go.
This is a custom blend I get which is basically their 201 and 301 with 6% calcium and extra dairy compost and a shit ton of extra mycos.
