Can I use melting salt?

Ok, I know of using epsom salt for cal/mag and such. But, I have this bag of "Ice Melt" and it has sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and potassium chloride. I was wondering if that could be used instead of epsom salt?

Doesn't that chemical ice melt have all kinds of health warnings on it? I've personally never used epsom salt, but isnt that stuff pennies on the lb. in bulk?

Absolutely NOT!!!!!!!! Do NOT use "Ice Melt" salt on your plants! It will kill them QUICK, I guarantee it!:-(
