It's good to start slow with defoliation when you're new, learn as you go. Otherwise it can backfire and thats no fun. Do some research on it. It's perfectly safe to take up to 20% ish but again, I don't recommend that at first. Most seem to go overboard when they try..
I looked at the pics and - she's still a bit droopy. Whats the weather currently like there, and how much is she drinking now? Those roots are going to shoot out, they were healthy.. and will be thirsty. As far as flowering, that is normal imo.. She is just getting started, and she was a bit bound.. give her time. She will be shooting out pistils all over, haha.
