Can I just vent the lights into a corner?

I'm considering running CO2 to increase yields. Problem is venting the lights. I know it's not ideal, but can I just vent the lights into a far corner of the room? This way I circulate air, but don't have to worry about exchanging air from the outside (I live in an apartment so I can't cut holes in the wall, and also not having air exchange would allow me to run CO2 with just a CO2 calcualtor and regulator)

your regulator will determine co2 level needs. if you just turn it on 1 time a day, how are your plants going to get what they need? read!

From what I understand you need to use a CO2 calculator to approximate the amount of CO2 to release. The regulator doesn't tell you what the CO2 PPM is (I think you're thinking of a CO2 controller)

Problem is that if you don't vent the air you will just be circulating old air that isn't fresh. But circulating the air is a lot better than just letting it build and become stagnate. I say if you have room and your temps don't fluctuate than you should be good to just move it to the side on a constant basis, especially if you are adding CO2 throughout the day.
If your in a closet then a good idea would be to open the door periodically throughout the day. This can exchange the air but you might be a little susceptible to odor leaks. However a few plants usually doesn't produce enough of a odor to cause too big of a problem. Just make sure the temp doesn't rise to above 80(F) or your in trouble.:bigjoint:

yeah, that's correct. regardless, 1 time a day ain't gonna get it done. (good catch!)
