can i clone from a fan leaf?

I want to cut a clone but literally EVERY branch has buds starting on it-if I want one should I go ahead and sacrifice a branch with buds to get a good clone?

It will work. It will take a bit longer to root and switch back to "veg" mode but it is worth the wait if it's worth saving.

As far a getting a leaf to root? yes it can be done, but No it will not make a plant.
I rooted a leaf once let it live 3-4 months, no sign of any other growth...perhaps if I let it live longer???who knows

Might have to sacrifice the branch with the least amt of bud growth in order to get a clone
