Can I add magnesium tablet to my water?

Hi! I ordered a calmag a few days ago but its gona be really late and my plants need magnesium! Can I add pure magnesium tabletbto my water? And how many mg?

Can you provide information on the tablets? I'd be very hesitant and instead just use Epsom salt like the majority of the rest of us. One gram per gallon of water.

I dont have that either... My tablets are 100mg per tablet
