Can bugs destroy what's already grown?

Yup bugs can kill it all.......if you let em.....some guy just posted a thread with dead buds from worms.

Wow, that looks like a pretty bad bug problem on this link. Not sure how you let it go that far, but I'm not one to talk. Luckily, after I cut off all the leaves effected with the miners I haven't seen any problems. Very few leaves remain, but I'll take a bonsai look over bugs any day

at the stage he looks to be in he should be ok. i'd spray capt. jack's twice, with 4-5 days between spraying. put on rubber gloves and hold the leaves up to get the bottoms good. as long as you have 3 weeks to harvest there should be no traces left by then. i've used it lightly 2 weeks before harvest to get rid of some thrips that hopped ship from a cutting and seemed fine to me, tasted good
