This new grow i got going is now is more tailored for highh yield without sacrificing quality....

And id like to see a pic of some of your sky's.... that cut is hard to get a hold of and is supper funky stinnky....

Yea you have to top those OG strains, it makes a huge difference. It controls the stretch as well.

Here is a pic of my Skywalker table. They just woke up so they are still a little sleepy, haha.

You can see that at 3 weeks into veg most of the plants are only 12" to 18" and they already have 4 - 8 tops a piece. In another week or two when I am ready to flip I will have 24" to 30" plants with 6 - 20 tops each.

Definately looks skywalker at this point...
I vegged my skywalker for 2 weeks and came up with a 4 footer....
Thats a great choice of og to grow man...
The way i see it ..sky is so lanky and leafless...
Youd could put a bunch in a tall space.....
I would like to see the finished product....

Yea it all comes down to personal growing preference. I have 24 on the table now, and that is the most I would do because I have been topping so much. But if I didnt top at all, I could veg the plants for 2 weeks or so, and double the amount of plants in there. But my room isn't too tall, so I have to go with shorter plants anyway.

Personally I find less plant with more tops more efficient. It's easier to get in between the plants for foliar spraying, and helps to keep mold down by having good air circulation.

I will definitely post some pics when its done.

I love how leafless it is! It sucks for getting trim to make hash out of, but it makes trimming (the thing I hate the most about growing) take 80% less time than a Bubba Kush or something similar.
 
U bring up some interesting topic id like to bring up....
The way i see it ...is that i hate beasters..
When i mean beasters ... i mean very tall plants.....5ft+
These plants tend to have more popcorn buds and are airier than small plants....
Plus since im using a 400 i cant really get penetration beyond 3 to 4 feet ......
So i like em shorter.... like kush plants ...small dense...
But i dont top just for the fact that , depite a better canopy...
They tend to go off in different directions and have more bud sites to feed....
giving less time to mature befroe its dead.....
And i feel that top bud is always more potent than the 4 or 5 top heads ....imo

My ideas may just be thoughts, not facts , but its simple common sense for my grow....
I see allot of difference in fruit , especially small fruit apposed to bigger ones.....
For instance apples or grapes..(vegatables too)lol
The smaller ones are sweeter and more sour ..
And the bigger over nuted muscle ones arent as sweet.....

These diferences ive noticed with smaller plants and bigger plants...
The beauty of og is it grows tall but has limited grow sites , with more explosive bud growth than sun leaves production.....

This is just what i noticed from my crops....

Topping to me takes time and im ready to move on to the next one faster.... and in time it works out.. I shoten veg ....but allow enuff time for ample root growth ....
Had some okay topping experiences.... but its tuff to top a nice og when it looks so lovely...

Are you flushing your plants? And are you using sugars and carbs when you flush?

not really... sometimes i use mollasses.. but i dont flush for a long period.... maybe a week tops ....
I taper off on feedings... and start light ... so most nutes are ingested and dont build....

Skywalker i would say is top 5 of all time.....
I like louie about the same , depending on the mood im looking for ...

I might get my hand on some rascal white s1's or whitefires....
Theyre finally dropping tmro... after a long anticipated wait...
At my local shop.....
130 is pricey..... but id like to put the white agiainst louie....

Kinda starting to think louie might not mother good...
Went from 18/6 to 12/12 to 24/0....
Kinda stressed out the lou cuts...
But theyre still growing.... hope they reveg nicely ...they ere lookin to flower already....
Ill have to keep a close eye....

It stayed at a foot length....

Looks stressed to hell ...
But is putting out allot of new calyxes....
By far the lankiest ....
The top leaves are really curled and thin...
But very thick...
A couple of few growers commented saying this is a nute problem....
And it does look that way ....
However i didnt use any nutes really ... and cut offf tghe nutes on her a week ago...
Still i contest that this is just the way the finicky ogs grow for me....
I had the same looking leaves on skywalker...
An event tho yield was low .... it was great og....
So i think tahoe will pull threw .....

Im gonna give these whitefire seeds a try....
Ograskal dropped allot of gear this week to my area....
My club said they would grow some cuts out ....
But i might just get a pack today....
I know 2 guys that are germing them now....
And they promised me a cut also..

I have to many cuts..... seems like every time a fellow grower comes by they just want the lou ....
Seeing as it the most elite cut i have.....

I didnt forget about you tho...
Ill try and send u a seed or two soon ..if i get it ...
