How do you fix that
It's only minor so far, so I'd just reduce the bottles of nutrients that have Nitrogen in them slightly. Stay stable for a couple of watering sessions, then review and reduce further if necessary.
How do you fix that
I'm trying to grow this without using animal derived products if possible. Ive probably used something at some point I shouldn't have but I don't really want to buy oyster shells or eggs.i'm not a dirt guy but couldn't you top dress with powdered egg shells/oyster shells to add Ca?
Just give it flowering nutes no more nitrogen. Theyre gonna use that up

That is incorrect information and misleading advice at best.
The plants need Nitrogen throughout their entire life cycle.
Reduce the amount of N slightly until the toxicity goes away. Don't just get rid of all Nitrogen entirely.
Don't add anymore nitrogen. Trust me. They use it thrououg there lives that is true but yours has plenty right now and adding more will create the risk of a lockout and further issues.
okay. This has kind of went off point for me, the OP. I'm sure Ballzmageetree can take what you've both said, do some more research, and figure something out. Can anyone please give me some more advice? It's fine going "use dolomite lime", but can you elaborate? Do you have any specific tips for how to use it? Do I still feed as well? Have you had success with this?
Yeah I know, and I'll probably add it into my soil mix at the start of my next grow. But I can't do that now unless I sprinkle it on the top. I still have questions that haven't been answered. Hopefully someone who has some sound advice with reply soonDolomite lime is best used as amendment in the soil and will give the micronutrients to the plant throughout there whole life.
High in CA/Mag
not sure where you are but cutting edge solutions plant amp is Ca only.Yeah I know, and I'll probably add it into my soil mix at the start of my next grow. I'm in UK. Thanks, I'll have a look and see if there anything I can here that's just canot sure where you are but cutting edge solutions plant amp is Ca only.
that's the problem with cal/mg. you are getting extra N and Mg when you really only need Ca.I'm in UK. Thanks, I'll have a look and see if there anything I can here that's just ca
Yeah :/ that was the next thing I was gonna check cz I didn't want to cause more problems with too much mg. I really just want to get the soil pH sorted so then it can take up the nutrients it's supposed to itself. But if I can give it a little CA boost I'm sure that'd be good for nowthat's the problem with cal/mg. you are getting extra N and Mg when you really only need Ca.
i've never tried this but what if you could buy some water with Ca in it? like mineral water high in calcium carbonate? But if I can give it a little CA boost I'm sure that'd be good for now
I'm not sure. I've never thought about that. I'll have a little look and see if I can find anythingi've never tried this but what if you could buy some water with Ca in it? like mineral water high in calcium carbonate?
Having a look it seem that hard water already has a good amount of calcium in it, and my tap water is particularly hard so hopefully if I just keep watering at a high pH that might do the trick.i've never tried this but what if you could buy some water with Ca in it? like mineral water high in calcium carbonate?
You're fine brotha. Just give it flowering nutes no more nitrogen. Theyre gonna use that up. Just make sure your pH is looking good. That's a must always.
