Cal\Mag Def? and bud rot question

First off I have few plants about to harvest. 2 of them have dense buds especially th3 cola. I found some fuzz INSIDE of a bud or two, seems like I caught it very very quickly as the buds seem very solid\healthy and there was only a little bit I could see. I have a small oscilatting fan in my bathroom where im drying my plants. What 2would you do? I want to dry them correctly.

Second off, what deficiency is this?

Definitely looks like a cal mag slut. I can't tell if you are also experiencing botrytis. At least with that picture. @Diabolical666 knows how to handle that though. Maybe she can help you out.

Thanks pinworm, the fuzz is on a different plant the deficiency plant just started flowering few weeks ago. Thanks for being aw3somely quick

wouldnt sweat a def this late on...
bend your infected(fuzzy bud) over and look inside..it starts from the center around the stem...if you see fuzzy on outside that whole bud is essentially doomed...cut it now and cut infected part off and toss it..its not safe to smoke at all. Get it out of your grow yesterday!

dont touch any parts of healthy plant with fungis fingers....wash hands with peroxide after cutting and tossing infected parts...then finish trimming plant...watch it closely, cut it down as far as you can by trimming all sugar leaves and cut stems down as far as you can and dry on screen or mesh rack...if you dont have one, grab a screen off your window and use it (wash it 1st tho, from dirt)

So the only bud rot was in the main cola which sucks but its a good lesson learned, will always top from now on. I cut out the mold, threw it away and have it closer to the oscilatting fan in my bathroom where im drying.

I found these two mesh screens and have the problem buds laying on it but its elevated so air can circulate. Ive read harvesting threads, but can you give me some tips?

Hanging everything but problem buds

Window is blocked out so its pretty much pitch black, but with a little airflow

Small oscilatting, 3 setting fan blowing indirectly at buds

So far have 4 of these to dehumidify

I dont have extraction in the bathroom, is that for sure n3cessary? The window has a passive exhaust\intake depending on pressure I guess but IDK?

I have a closet type thing in grow room that I could use if extraction is 100% necessary.

I get the same great product just trimming everything wet and cutting it off the stems and placing it to dry on the mesh. It dries in 3 days (depending on density of bud) , then its ready to jar...if still wet after drawing more water out ...I just put it back on the mesh for another 8 hrs or so..then back in the jar for curing process... in 4 days i notice the smell coming threw, then its time to sample...if its smooth , its ready...if its harsh..it has more curing to do. imho I cant trim dry...the trics fall of and its a mess from hell. Whenever the conditions are perfect for botritys...start bending buds over for inspection..look near stem and calyxes forr the dingy color...once you see that starting hit it with some green cure fungicide (keep this on hand always) research botrytis to find out the conditions for which it grows and thrives. After you harvest, you are going to want to spray and clean your grow with peroxide and water... Botrytis moves quick and grows quick and sticks to everything...keep checking other plants daily for contamination. If the conditions ever are perfect for botrytis go ahead and spray them with green cure (its food grade and safe, read directions)...this usually happens near the end of flowering when theres density... Lost 5 lbs to botrytis one year...devistated my grow in about 8 hrs...thats alot of hard work to loose it all in the end;) gl

I trim just like you. I could get a line of haters a mile down the road . Fuck em. I am not a fan of dry trimming

Hahah Yes!

My buddy claims he gets more weight when hang drying . I think if it were true I assume it's due to an uneven dry . Racks definitely give you the most even dry IMO

Im cleaning a screen from my window (thanks diabolical) and going to let them dry on there.

Any tips? Should i move the buds around on the screen to ev3nly dry?
Is exhaust 100% necessary?

Exhaust isn't necessary if humidity and temp under control. Have airflow but not airflow on the nugs. Don't roll them around on the screen they will be fine . Dry trimming has a better smell from day 1 of going in bag IMO... But . After a few days of being cured the wet trimmed stuff smells the same, and looks better .

Yes get a spatula and flip them every 15 minuted till golden brown...naaaaw..jkjk
Dont put the fan directly on them , just make sure the air is moving in the room a bit...just pop the room door open for a bit if it feels like too much humidity...you'll probably be alright without the exhaust this way. Oh, dry trim idk ...last time I dry trim was in the 90's

You and me's are the fastest trimmers in alll the lands8). I keep telling them if they trimmed like me Id pay em 20 an hr...they still cant do it

I used to pay by the hr.. But I might as well of send them home with what they trimmed...lol

Now I pay 230 per pound . They are still really slow. And I find people get progressively slower after a few days haha. I tell them too, "if you trimmed more weed this way, you would get faster"!

This way is efficient for me because you only have to mess with it ONCE. No final trim. Nugs come Off the rack, into turkeys, out the door. Can't beat that.

This was a practice cfl grow while I do my 600W Tent
I was feeding them dynagro foliage pro\protekt
Blackstrap
Drip clean
Root excellerator
Occasional humic acid

I got nute burn so I was gave straight water a few times then started light nutes again. I always got runoff but TBH didnt always suck out the runoff so there might be a szlt buildup not sure. The plant on the right has puurple on the leaves at the very top under the lights. Just overall unhealthy.
