Here are 3 more branches that were harvested last week but never got posted. One shot of the before, the last of the after. I forgot what they weighed but as you can see, they were big and dense, just like all the previous photos. Papaya and Haze19xSkunk1 are definitely worth the try.
I will do one final weigh in at the end of this week to close the thread. All in all as it sits tonight much of the bud has dried and started compressing while it cures.
Ending grow breakdown:
Harvest Date/Info: Staggered, Begun March 2nd and slowly finished until March 6th. So they've been drying and curing for about 2 weeks. They spent the first 3-4 days hanging with a time duration based on how dense the buds were as to avoid drying them too quickly, or slowly. They then moved to paper bags according to size & density, after that to jars which are opened twice daily for about 30 minutes or so.
Total Plants: 4
1 x Papaya
3 x Haze 19 x Skunk 1
Dried, curing weight (today): 450 grams.
I have 9 jars filled with 50 grams in each. I may lose a few more grams along the way but I doubt it will be much more, they look and feel superb.
Next week I'll lay it all out and take some nice close ups. Thank you all (the few that did come here and speak) I appreciate the comments and hope you can take something away from this to help your future operations. The kind comments were also always welcome and inspiring.
I still have the 15 clones that are 1 month behind the last harvest about to finish with another 20 clones rooting right now, the perpetual gear is in motion. Thank you to Al B. Fuct for his inspiration. I am a very technical person and by following strict documentation on the cloning & growing processes he has provided everyone I have proven a 98% success rate within 9 days for solid rooting on any clone. So, Al, if you're around- thank you. Your writing is fantastic and tremendously valued, I learned quite a bit from you and obviously can show for it with these 4 plants as my start in hydroponics. While I didn't copy Al's complete vegetative and flowering processes, I did stay within the same strict rules that must be applied, keeping it simple and accurately dialed in. Without any hocus pocus it shows that 4 plants grown right in a properly controlled environment (even as small as mine) can yeild just shy of a dank, dry, pound... And that's with beginner mistakes.. Cheers, Al. This hash I'm making is for you!
Now to make things really fun and dial it in even more with the 15 and 20 clones in rotation. I am looking forward to streamlining the process by changing a few logistical things to make life easier around the grow op. Those things alone will ultimately help me yeild a considerably larger amount these next few grows.
But.. Until we all meet again, keep your lights bright!
