C99- Three Leaf - Citrus Pheno

I have a couple of C99 clones going ATM and the fans that remain are 5-7 leaves, nor are they autos, as my buddy just finished his harvest of these babies. They adults had 3-7 leaves and a nice frost of chromes. There are other strains in my dome, so I can't say whether they're odor is grapefruit/pineappleish or not yet (they should be), but the mothers certainly were very pineapple/fruity. They were also very bushy and we had to stay on top of them or they would get completely out of control. I didn't keep track of how many days of 12/12 it took them to flower (I'm sure he did), but it was faster than the diesel we had flowering along with. We're still curing, so I can't really speak to the high yet either. Sorry, never took any pix.

The other strains I have in there are Super Lemon Kush and a diesel, of which I'm not sure of the exact strain. The diesel is the only thing that really stands out odor-wise thus far.

You know grapefruit is citrus right? And pineapple is like citrus adjacent. I'm thinking about getting the HighRise seeds version.

I'm glad someone else said it. I haven't determined exactly which scent it is. Or if it is even one of the two. Citrus is a fine statement for now.

Yes I am saying that's very close to what it looked like in veg. It started about 7-8 week in and leveled off. Meaning it did not continue to flower. Just put it under 12/12 at 14 weeks.

I'm just curious as to what's up with the leaves and strange behavior. If its not cindy that doesn't crush me, looks like a fine smoke if it doesn't hermie.

good news though is she can't wait to flower. good for you!
Cindy has been known to throw a few 3 finger leaves. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=271495 Seems to be light related usually but some kind of stress. Could be underwatering or cramped roots
I have had the lemon pheno. For me it was the most potent of 3 phenos but flowered the longest. I still have the pineapple but tossed the grapefruit.

Sound's like the leaf formation is quite common. Have any of you had trouble with herm if flower too long?

Female seed's version is very good. i haven't tried the original.

Very good genetics and very few phenotypes. (good)

It's been a bitch to clone, however. A bit more finicky than what I used to grow, pure power plant, which was extremely easy to clone.

Find out more if you can. Real Brothers Grimm seeds are worth a fortune, but would be a number of years old. Most likely a descendant by some breeder. I'm looking to get a good C99 right now.

Yeah, she's a diva for sure.

She's definitely not conforming, Having to raise her higher and higher to maintain the canopy. She is just growing horizontal.

Will have both RCMC C99 (regular seeds) and 1 female seeds C99 shortly. Going to pop 3 RCMCs and the female seeds one at the same time, hopefully I will get 3 females and I can grow 3 side by side.

I have been cloning a C99 for about 3 years now. I call it the Sloth...as in the three toed sloth. I have grown several C99 strains and I have never come across a hermie C99.....just stay away from the feminized 99. No knock on fems but the reg. C99 blows the fem. versions away.
