The cure time for C99 is important...after she cures she taste so good..and the buzz is very electrifying...she has that sweet smell of fruit or pineapple...and she looks like she is wearing diamonds..she sparkles so much...she is like wine..the more age the better..I just finished some from last years crop and was just as good as day 1 ..i did get a grapefruit pheno once and it was real nice...like sour candy...I cure for 3-4 months before dispencing her...worth the wait...I had to cure in 5 gallon buckets with gamma lids i had so much and cure was perfect...rotate bucket and open it..twice a day...perfect...

Same here man, mine were nothing like the real C99, full indica, no stretch, no density. Smelt like pineaplle skunk and barely got me stoned. Never again for me!
I wonder why G13 used some rubbish and called it C99 (or failed to test it properly). I mean nobody benefits from such a release. People spend money because they think they get something solid and get a disappointment. For me that was my last purchase from G13, there are way too many companies out there to waste time with idiots. That's sad, i kinda liked their Hypnotic and there's this hate-love thingy with Pineapple Express but that's not a good way to lead a seed business.

Back to topic: This whole C99 talk made us a bit nostalgic so we cracked 2 Apollo11 genius. Not the original C99 but still very nice.

I've been happy with the quality of all my female seeds C99 but one plant auto flowered after I cloned it and it became root bound. I tend to keep my mothers in small pots. Just a heads up. Like I said quality was great though

I dont know if mine auto flowered or just flowered too fast but i couldnt keep clones because they would start flowering on me. I never get the munchies but the C99 gave me the munchies real bad.

I grew Greenthumb's C99 about 5 or 6 years ago. Doc says it is from Original Bros. Grimm stock and that's what I thought after growing and smoking it. Has a pronounced pineapple taste

I'm glad someone's had some luck with the G13 version, all 5 of mine were shit, worst strain I've ever grown :(

same here...i got some as a freebie...pure junk...the hairs turned brown in week 5..had no smell and when cured tasted like shit...Cindy is one of my favorites but this was bad...I grow outside in a GH and this plant grew 9 feet..9 feet of wasted time...Female seeds or Mosca if you want something good...

I heard there is a breeder continueing Bros. Grimms work but forgot the name..if you know post it

Just to be clear, I also have a mother plant I've been using for over a year that doesn't auto. Still have 7 left in the pack so we'll see I guess

The G13 c99 version is Jack Here x Haze wich was partly how Bothers Grim made there C99 so I dont know where G13 get that thats C99 IMO?

MY G13 c99 got big buds but they were not dence and not a good smell, not great smoke either. In all fairness, I only had one freebie seed to play with.

My Female seeds c99 uses BG parent stock Grapefruit x Pineapple its good C99.

Mosca BX-1 C99 uses BG parent stock, they just say 2 different phenos crossed and back cross a gen. So they helped an extra step to get a good stable pheno from their seeds.

Dr greenthumb c99 is the only other one I know that uses BG parrent stock. They say orignal BG strain seeds. The price is unreal thou.

I wasn't going to start it because of the bad reviews, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Definitely no brown hairs and it's week 9.maybe attitude had a seed mix up.it's going to be a heavy yield of giant buds.I still would not pay for G 13 seeds.

Herbie's Headshop seems to be a great one to order from though. That's where my C99-BX1's came from. Didn't take long to get them in, about 14 days, which was quicker than expected.

Back when I was running C99 full time, everyone else was running white widdow and cali mist, northern lights, good stuff but I would open a container of C99 buds and everyone would say " thats the stuff I want!" The smell is overwhelming. It wont let you down when you get a good pheno. Just joining this site I figured I would see how many still ran it. We are the C99 brothers.8) I think I will start a C99 brothers thread on here somewhere. Anyone think thats cool or to mushy?

I have some of the old seeds from Grim and some of the female seed line. Also was lucky enough to get some from a breeder on Seedbay back in the day who bxd the line. Only grown a few out over the years with no stellar ladies poppin up. I am on the hunt for the electric pineapple pheno tho. Too many seeds, not enough time or room.

One thing about cindy..MAKE sure you tie up the branches when you see first bud sites > forgot a few and had one that was 4 feet long break off the stalk and peel down about a inch on the bark...it was loaded in buds..but still not ripe..I sprayed it with some nitrozyme and taped it back and tied it up...and it made it..as most know Cannabis is a survivor plant can take a beating an keep on ticking...
i use lots of kelp and silica during the late season like now to help ward of mold and rot..and working great so far..and they love it ..i see bud progress over night when they get sprayed with kelp an silica..i spray a compost tea also..i should say all the plants love it...I do use actinovate weekly also..the dew point here has been bad..when I go out and look at plants they look like rained on from dew except ones in Greenhouse...have 4 fans there for exhaust..and they are always dry.....I keep walls an floor of GH pretty sterile with spraying Physon20 and bleach to kill any spores waiting to party in my plants...also clean fans..

Cindy gets mold once her flowers tighten up so be on guard...
