I think im on day 26..or 27 gotta look, you thinks its too late for some defol, on only planning this go 8 weeks, maybe 9..as most grows on this strain have been ready at 60days, im planning an extra week maybes

Heres the 2 plants early mainline, blimburn culled, i started 4 main branches- broke one on the the pineapples (right) top branches clean off , it was a little muscle armed plant, i had to use wire lol....thats why my canopy is low on one side

anyways i didnt continue with it and shud have lol..............next time !

Nice grow so far. Looks like you went all out, doing it the right way. One thing I would caution against is, don't stick to that 8-week rule. I think you're counting from the day you switched to 12:12.
Going by trichomes is definitely Key.

Absolutely, others said the same. I’ll grab a loop or sumfin and go by trichomes.

Trikes tell the story most all of the time and some seem to go cloudy to amber very quickly at times. Mostly cloudy is is great for fishing too!

Day 40 ~ 12/12

Pistils are starting to turn orange, i imagine these will look totally different in a few weeks..

smells of sweet mixed tropical fruit cups, no worries of mj smell with this one, i can leave the tent doors open for hours just smells like ripe fruit in the room. Unlike my veg tent which absolutely reeks from some infant jack herer's

Considering that you have qb' and strips which do you feel is more efficient? Have you run your QBs for flower or just veg? I know you said your QBs run alot warmer. I'm not really worried about the heat. Were my tent is there is no heat but during the summer it's very cool. Im working with the same tent. (2×4) I'm wanting to grab a kit but I'm hung up on qb' vs strips but I really like the cxb kit from rapid, something about 5 cxbs in a black fixture with black pinsinks screams sexy too me . Here is what I'm thinking, obviously the cxb or 3qb with a 480 driver or 16 to 20, 22" strips with another 2, 22" and 2 4' strips for lower/side lighting that I'll just attach to the cmf kit as to be able to slide them up and down the vertical supports. Which ever I choose will be 3500k except the strips I'm going to stagger 3000 and 3500 if I go with strips. Possibly the 480 driver or 600. Or am I out of my mind and thinking way outta the box? Btw you have a really nice setup and your grow looks beautiful. I think I found you on youtube the other day? Looks like the same setup as the video.

All your options will kill it man....both strips and qb's are exceeding my expectaions. way more power than i need and running cool.

It really comes down to even light spread...for your space, just make sure theres no "concentrated" lighted areas.

I doubt you'd need the side lighting... use that $$ for uv/far red addons to your setup..

The qb's in the veg tent are 5k so no i havent flowered with them, they would be just as good in 3k for bloom. same diodes. I wouldnt be able to run them in a flowering tent cranked....where i live it gets pretty warm, so i went with strips.

Ok ok, I'm really wanting to just build my own but I'm almost 2 weeks behind where I want to be. I'm new to the whole led concept so im having a real hard time understanding things. I'm trying to figure out things on my own but I think I've read so much over the last few months I fried my brain with sensory overload haha. I really just dont know any more. I would really love to run that strip layout that I mentioned and add a digital pot to it. It would be cool to control the nights with arduino. There was a set up I saw and dude had a digi pot it read the watts, volts and kwh. I'm not sure if it was a digi pot as he didnt say what it was. I figured he made it with digi pot components along with arduino or raspberry.

Hell of a tent there loaded with C99. I have a couple just starting. They are slow starters. Do not be afraid to pull the plants early. That is if you want the sativa or visual effects. No ambers and lots of clear trichs.

Never ran the C99 before but sativas get too mellow for my liking if I let them run into amber trichs.

What are you all doin for calibrating your PH probes ? I've been only been calib with 7.0 solultion
Have been since the start...Do you really need to calibrate at 2 different points ?
