Buy Low, Sell High

Recently I've been unsatisfied with my current income and I have been considering using the 'buy low, sell high' method on craigslist or another type of site. I have heard of people doing this with cars but I do not have enough initial capital to invest. Does anyone have any recommendations of other, less expensive products commonly sold on craigslist that can be used to make a profit by buying low and selling high?

i know a guy who would go to the auto salvage yard and buy shift knobs and other rare items. he would pay like $8 for a shift knob off a old muscle car and flip it in the right circles for up to $150. there is alot of leg work but if you know what your looking for there is a lot of money to be made

My motto is 'If its not your plate do NOT try to eat off it' meaning if you dont normally make money in that method.. kick rocks.. It bothers me when people who know damn well tha only way they wouuld ever make money is through a regular slave 9-5 want to try and dabble in things they have no clue about..

grow more bud? Honestly selling weed you bought is way too many transactions occurring, and the risk outweighs reward.... and seriously dont use the internet for illegal transactions thats just looking to get caught... you just need to be creative and find something that works for your situation.

Stick to what you know. If your a gearhead, go buy used car parts from junkyards and resell. If your a computer geek, try the laptop thing. Buying and selling used cars is risky if you dont know what to look for when you buy them. I used to do the used car thing years ago. If your gonna try it then your best bet would be local auctions for running cars. If you are mechanically inclined, then find one on the internet that needs a little work (i.e. blown head gasket, bad tranny, broke timing belt, ect.). Stick to what you know and you wont end up in over your head.

in this economy got to find the right hustle, broads ? nah that is a dirty business man, if i were you i would i would use your background in real estate. find property owners who are sitting on alot of property that needs to be leased, explain to them you can market their rentals to mm growers/patients and sift through the deadbeats and retards. be a mm property manager

what I used to do, was buy designer clothing from shipment warehouses, I could get Armani, Gucci, Guess, True Religion, alot of other big names, for rock bottom prices when i bought in bulk.

Id buy like 2000 units, at $40 a piece.

I could sell them each for $150~

Nothing is stolen, Nothing is illegal, if you pay taxes.

You can make alot of money, but i stopped because its hard times, people dont really have the money to buy Armani and Gucci, etc anymore, people are tryin to save their money, so business is slim where I am. it could be different for you.

Just cause it says Armani doesn't mean it is, somewhere i have a rolex around here that my brother in law brought back from Iraq, probably not a rolex. And if he can't afford to buy and sell cars how is he going to be able to buy $8,000 worth of clothes.
They only way to do this is stick to what you know. I don't know what state you are in, but in a lot of the medical states i would imagine there is a high demand for quality, affordable highly stealth grow boxes.

you could import stuff from China to resell, although 99% are bootlegs and even ebay looks for that now. two years ago i was making a killing on monster cables and chi flat irons. I would get them for $8 a piece in lots of 50, the cables would then sell for $18 to $20 a piece, not a bad racket. this year i am taking my remaining stock and selling it at the flea market.

I know how to look for original, and I know how to tell if an Item is a original or remake. there are things to look for. and i assure you i buy 100% original.

but I agree, stick with what you know. but suggesting to sell marijuana is stupid. Its highly illegal. If you can find a way to doe verything legally go for it.

Wow imagine that, Tokesmoke read something wrong. I said in legal states make grow cabinets, not to sell weed or plants, just cabinets. Look at how many people on here grow in apartments.
