LOL! Anything with the term "Smart" included in it's description can and probably does make the exif data in every picture. Some even include the GPS location of where the pic was taken. Apple was busted because it's Iphones where maintaining a fille of GPS locations and cell towers it connected to. It is tracking your movements! Many cell phone companies were just called out for applications on their phones that can track and log every key press.
With current technology, your carrying big brother in your cell phone, tablet, and even your computer. Suspect everything you post as having damning evidence, from your postings, emails, and photos. IP addressed can be traced and embedded photo info is pretty much solid.

I guess we start out doomed! Isn't that illegal though so they couldn't put that against you? They would need a case in the first place to get a warrent so if they already have a case on you, you're screwed.. the rest is just icing on the cake to them.

I would think pictures of illegal activity with gps coordinates embedded in them would be enough probable cause to obtain a warrant. *I am not a lawyer but I sometimes play one on the internet.

Illegal pictures without gps is just illegal pictures... with the info that site gives you.. but that's not what I meant by isn't that illegal. I meant the emails, posts and your computer activity.. hacking a computer is a federal offence I thought? Hell if you override someones internet connection you are breaking the law on a federal offence.

Many idiots of Facebook have been busted for stupid assed in the open content and pics they have posted. It happens, and some where caught due to information gleaned from the pics themselves. Be smart with what you post, especially anything that could gain law enforcement attention. Even a flat bed scanner scanning a Polaroid photo can leave embedded information.

I'm all legal so this does not worry me at all (even though I have separate cam for this).

98% of growers on here are not big enough for feds to waste time on. Maybe some bored ass lil city cop that thinks weed is the devil. So don't think most of you guys need to worry about this.

Edit: to the post above.... you're right about that but the feds aren't lookin for small time personal grows. More like commercial warehouses.

Really? I bet a LOT of people DON'T know that every picture ever taken with certain digital cameras are traceable back to that particular camera.
