Bug or Nute problem?

Hello! So I recently went to the Cannabis Cup here in Southern California and I cam walking out with two gorgeous clones from Space queen x qwerkle from TGA genetics and grown by the guys at THC design. They were looking great. They were transplanted into 4" coco at the Cup in a tutorial class. I'm trying to understand why they look so sickly. I haven't been giving them heavy run of nutes. I have them under t8 grow/ aqaurium lights + take them outside for the daylight(to keep 18/6). I get my Growant 800 on Tuesday YEW! I want to keep just these two in the 4x4 tent I have in my garage and pop all my more mature ladies outside and let them flower in our not so wintery winter in orange county. I went on a rampage around my garden that included killing PM, aphids, mites and everything under the sun. Which leads me to think this is due to bugs. My nutrient schedule has been very light. They have always been given ph'd water and just the other day I decided to give them their first fedding with Fox farm nutes. Grow big/bigbloom/kanagaroots/microbrew. Everything was supppppper light maybe 1/4 of what is recommended. They are still showing some growth but definitely stunted slightly. Possibly heat stress? I see a little canoeing up top, but no burnt edges on those particular leaves. Lower leaves effected as well, so heat burn, not seeing. Nute burn possible, but not to this extent with 1/4 nutes. Fungus gnats are good possibility, if you are not root bound in a 4” pot.

Definitely not root bound, I can peak in the sides of the container and I see a few little white hairs poking out but not even close to a serious root system. I thought about the fungus gnats because some of my other more mature plants are in the tent as well. Because im using a t8 light, I move them outside for daylight. Im going to clean the tent. Any recommendations? sulfur burn vs bleach/water the walls? I plan on putting the older girls outside when the new light comes to flower under the natural sun. Keeping the little girls inside to do a scorg

You are ph’ing, yes? If not, you need to. 490ppm is pretty hard. There’s a lot of threads in here about hard water. As far as tent cleaning, it sounds like you’ve read more than myself.

I am ph'ing but i'm seeing that the lead cause is probably the water. Which now is making sense cause I feel like I was doing everything light and gentle. I think my next step is a RO flush. The only problem is with 5-5gallon buckets....I need to buy 50 gallons of water...........hahahahahaha sweet

I read that article, among others. Which led me to this decision! Thanks for the help!!

Wind burned..they arnt used to the winds once you set them outside...they will acclimate eventually. The small one has broad mites

yeah,always real hesitant about bringing plants indoor/outdoors/indoors.once they go out,they stay.

if theyre indoor plants,i wouldnt introduce outdoor sunlight/enviroment.if outdoor plants,i usually have plants in different stages of growth,ive always worried about bringing pests back inside.

Before you buy water, let it acclimate, like diabolical suggested. I have never had wind burn that bad, but pics don’t lie.

They have been in and out they're whole life. They have been acclimated to wind... We have very moderate weather here. Very good for cannabis, almost year round, except winter nights. I don't think wind burn is the problem because they have bounced back and looked great but then the second I add the slightest bit of nutes even after ph'ing them things look terrible. And its has gotten worse.

I have been growing outdoor for a while and was supposed to secure a qulity indoor light for my tent months ago. I had to pick up some unexpected bills and could only use the 4 light 32w t8 aquarium/grow but they are so under powered. They are only useful for clones and seedlings. So to keep the photoperiod 18/6 I take them outside to get good light and take them inside for to supplement the time needed

I’m assuming you test the tds ppm’s of your water. My ppm’s from tap are around 20 ppm. Very soft! I add CalMag to raise ppm’s between 125-150. Then I add nutes on top of that to the correct ppm for the stage of growth.
You are starting at 490 ppm, so it would make sense that you’re not able to add as many nutes for the stage of growth your plants are in. Plus, it’s easier to over feed if your not checking ppm’s.
