Update - 99 problems :bigjoint:

Well , the Tester A plant has really blown up to pretty much match the Tester B plant. This the reason i stick to lousy 2 gallon coco pots - couldn’t imagine the plant size if i ran them in 5 gallons.

I can still get pretty big plants from 2 gallons. But …..
Here we are :( .

I am running ( A ) plant in a fringe lighting location of the HLG BLACKBIRD. This rig has been a great light to use when i am up against a wall looking for “ grow space “. All of those free photons are definitely enough to keep this plant thriving. She is flowering nicely even if she is not under light directly.

I do plan to continue some kind of training on her to help control ( if possible - lol  ) . She is on same type of feed as her “ sister “ - GH MAXIBLOOM @ 5.8 ph ( tap water ) and occasional Hydroguard. She sits a raised drip pan.

I have no spare tents or “ space “ for her but think she will be ok.

Devastation :wall:

Welp - have mold in 2 of my plants - banana blaze - those thick growing buds were just ripe for mold.

They are a dense leaf plants and its been rather chilly lately and now even raining. I thought i had good air flow in room but apparently not.

This is why i grow perpetually- never no if something may go sideways .

I am just going to toss buckets and all into a large contractor trash bag and sling into dumpster.

Since i am updating various threads - Here is the replacement plant for those 2 banana blaze plants that got the mold …. ( *Lord’s Prayer ) :(

This is one of my go to strains - KKP S1 ( Durban Poison x GG4) that i sporadically run with grows. My wifey and cats prefer it over Blue Dream ( *shrugs )

She was flipped a few days ago.

Tester B chop day -

This chunky gal got chopped and hung up today. She was ahead of Tester A plant. Normally i would just “ leave her in pot “ drying slowly but as here in cali are to expect rain and high humidity i figured time to chop and hang instead.

I just did a very basic trim on her for right now and will continue to clean her up as time goes on. I still need to find a spot for her to dry out over time.

Anyways - here is her root ball ( coco and maxibloom )

Update - herm town

Well ran into my final issues with those original 8 plants ( solo cups ) that were part of the “ container grow thread “ .

3 of them ( hermied ) as was another “ tester “ strain -
( GG4 x SG sour grapes ) - not really a big deal since the other 5 plants are throwing their lady bits without any problems.

Unfortunately they were very vigorous plants but useless to me. If any were a full male then i would have harvested its pollen. But these were herm and better for a dumpster.

It actually helped make more space for the remaining 5 and no crowding . :blsmoke:

Shit happens that is why i grow back up plants.

Nice work showing how what you see above the soil is a direct reflection of what is going on under the soil.

Sorry to hear you had hermie visit, but there's no guarantees here, right??

I don't know if this is a good place to mention to you that you must have friends in (get) high places, or what IDK - but maybe Stephen got on here; heard you were heartbroken over QB96's being gone and said throw Budzbuddha a bone!
Never say us HLG junkies don't stick together!
Check it....

Another one bites the dust ( * shrugs )

So it is the last of the original 8 plants from my “ container grow “ thread but talked about here on this thread. 4 herm plants.

Thats why i pop more than i need - backup bud.
:bigjoint:

That thread will still highlight the contain layered mix used on those flowering plants.

It seems to be isolated to those “ tester “ seeds i had stored away from a chucker. Definitely that mix of plants aint cutting it. I am not worried about shit as those last few beans will be shitcanned.

Only true piece of sunshine from those 4 plants was their health and overall vigor from my container soil blends. They looked great but off to the dumpster they go.

This calamity has opened up the next round of plants - JoeBud genetics and possibly another set of strains.
