Thanks guys, Im getting pretty pumped. and marco^ I remember the first time I saw this shrinking first hand. I was so upset to see the "fat nugs" I had chopped and trimmed just seemed to disappear into light whispyness. Now I have a more dense bud but its still sad to see it shrink. and puck, ive already taken 30g of samples already havnt tried it but its in the cure jar. tryin to lose that green smell.

9-27-13 018.jpg9-27-13 019.jpg9-27-13 020.jpg Decided to chop down one of my potted ones due to unforeseen circumstances. This is the one I have been taking sample nugs from for 2 weeks. Not as ready as I would like but its got some nice solid nugs. and the trichs are actually kindof lacking compared to her other sisters. But its a guaranteed somethin somethin .

Shes turning purple like ive been backhanding her. 9-28-13 004.jpg9-28-13 005.jpg9-28-13 006.jpg This is the next potted one I plan on harvesting. smells like a different shade of grape. and longer colas than the first. want to wait until the other one is all jard up before I bring this baby in. let it grow some more. patience is the plan.

The first one harvested came out to just about 3.5 oz on the dot. pretty good for a potted plant. I wanna say it was a 3 gal pot but Id have to measure to be sure.9-3-13 006.jpg THIS IS A PIC BUT ITS A MONTH OLD... I don't think I have any newer ones. but the watering can can hold 2 gal max. pretty happy with the weight like I said it was a little early but ive got others. still havnt sampled any, curing and sitting on a quarter of harsh dro. cant wait to get into the smoothness.

Things are going really good. have been chopping and clipping a lot lately. officially have chopped 4 plants total, just havnt been documenting. none have come down out in the forest but Im almost positive that kush looking one is going to be ready. Ive already brought in 5 times what I got last year so its officially an improvement.

went out to the jungle after a long time away. the kushy gal and 2 of her pals were pretty much laying on top of eachother. got too heavy to stand through that wind and rain. ended up chopping the kushy. Had a bunch of mold in the colas so I threw out more than half. 10-8-13 001.jpg10-8-13 002.jpg10-8-13 003.jpg10-8-13 004.jpg10-8-13 007.jpg10-8-13 009.jpg 1st and 2nd pics are some colas from an undocumented harvest. 3+4 are of the scene in the forest. 5 and 6 some of the homegrown nugs too. You can see some of the smaller kushy colas on the bottom of the left rack. they are a lot lighter and fluffier than the homegrown that gets better sunlight. Bigger colas yes but not too dense at all really. safe to say this will be my last year out in the jungle. too much work for nothing really special. Now that ive got the legit homegrow theres no need to go for the hike. p.s the 5th pic and all the right rack in the 6th and more are from one plant. and its all dense as hell (: a full days worth of sunlight makes all the difference in the world.

Ive been so busy with work, trimming, hanging and curing I really havnt been taking pics. Ive chopped about 5 more plants all at home. 2 of my containers are not air tight so I got 2 jars that dried out too fast. other than that things are looking good. Not much mold. saving up plenty of popcorn nugs to make some hash. and as far as numbers the best year ever. I think the most ive gotten before was just under 100g . Last year I got 25g. Just yesterday I got over the 1000g. and still chugging along so im pretty happy with how things have gone so far. Have been toking on the potted one I took down first. getting nice and smooth and burns great, nice buzz too. Also made some dry sieve hash with some frozen trimmings and nugs. pretty intense and slow creeping body high.:weed:

yea man its nice to have a great year. those low yield years almost made me give up but sticking with it has definitely paid off this year. Its just nice knowing I don't have to pay for sub par bud. Im sick of giving away thousands of dollars a year for something that should cost hundreds. the flavors are starting to come out in the first one I chopped. Its been a while since ive had some cured bud.

Have been making a few rounds of dry sieve hash. I like to do multiple runs with frozen trim and buds and just keep re-freezing and doing again. I always struggled to get a pure sieve without all the fancy screens. well I used just a single layer of cheesecloth as the last layer of sifting and it does great. the runs with the popcorn nugs came out really pure. looks like black wax as opposed to the green mixed shit im used to making. One day ill get the bags but not a priority right now. Maybe after a bunch of rounds of dry, ill do one big batch of water and ice.

Learned a lesson yesterday. doing my jar opening and fanning and noticed one of the smaller plants that I jarred up a day early had mold. I should have taken it out the second I realized it was too early but I decided to go with it. It was only 2 oz but its still not a good feeling tossing it out.

tossing another 3 oz or so. that white mold in the jar from too much moisture. Ive got 2 other big jars that are still kindof moist so ive been completely emptying the jar and fanning it out until it gets better. Ive been told to sell it but I couldn't do that. so it looks like another toss in a fire. a couple ounces puts out a heck of a lot of smoke.

sup puck, yea it does blow throwing away so much bud. I would try to make hash or something but im just too bugged out about getting a sinus infection or something like that. If it wasn't such a good harvest I might consider taking the chance but ive got so much its no biggy. Fairly sure im not going to be paying for bud this year. wich is really nice, its like quitting cigs all over again money wise (I always say is good for the economy, Ive got 3,000$+ that would have gone to a pot dealer tax free to spend on everyday taxable things like gas food and whatever else). And Buckets I don't do the rice method, usually wait until they are pretty dry on the outside and toss them loosely in a jar to cure. Open twice a day at first, a lot of the time ill completely empty the jar to make sure its airing out good. after a few days of that its good enough just to open and fan. then after a while its just open when you want to grab a nug. I got a little messed up on those jars with all the trimming and hanging they went in too early and I didn't air them out enough.

been at least 2 good frosts/freezes in my area and still pulling them down. saw a couple spots that looked like they were dead, almost lost there green color and went grey ( not mold just grey and crispy). Thinking those might be the frost damage. besides that kushy one, I havnt taken down anything from in the forest. I want to go grab whats good out there but not 100% im going to. I did really really good at home. I really don't think I will let it go to waste but its been a busy last 3-4 weeks for me. its work, trimming, testing and jar tending. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and after that my back can rest a bit.
