roors are the best bongs you can buy.

just ask michael phelps.

Illadelph pieces are far nicer, Volcanos are overpriced.

And anyone that says buds don't have differing aromas and flavors needs to go to the Boulder Wellness Center and get some Poison Afghan. I have never smelled/tasted anything like it.

yeah different strains have different smells..but a lot of the time high schoolers sell middle schoolers mids and call it blueberry kush.

This Banana Kush that I get does leave a banana after taste. When I smoke Dragon's Blood, after awhile I start to get a pepper taste and tingle on my tongue. Some blueberry I've smoked had a fruity taste.

Wow. I can absolutely taste a difference between almost all pot I smoke. There definitely are exceptions, most lower grade stuff often taste similar but I can most certainly taste the difference between that and some fine marijuana. Now most of you say you can smell the difference, if harvested properly the taste should be rather distinct just like the smell. I hear you on all the wild names and claimed tastes of different strains, but I have come across many strains that do indeed have very unique tastes.

for me it is rare to really taste anything that is much different or unique but in recent memory I had some "grape kush" - I don't know how it was grown or cured but it taste exactly of grapes or grape juice and even smelled a little bit like it. I think it is possible it was cured with actual grapes or something.

No really it taste exactly like grape...every person of the 6 I tried it with identified it without me saying anything instantly and one person identified it before even smoking it (just from the smell)...

I just want to conclude this post by politely disagreeing with everyone in this thread who says that vape is better flavor - for me personally and my taste buds VAPE HAS VERY LITTLE IF ANY FLAVOR EVER.

for me the best way to taste bud is actually from a joint or a clean glass bong/pipe - I never have one of those 'clean glass bongs or pipes' lol

I've noticed 2 tastes... The taste of Mexican Shit Weed and the taste of good green Dank.. Of course there is the in-betweens of inproperly cured, harsh weed, but for the most part good green usually has a slightly citrusy and earthy skunk taste.

I've never tasted any berries or grapes in my weed...

Oh yeah you can taste the difference! A good flush combined with a good cure goes a long way in flavor. I'm not sure how open you are to Madonna from Sannie but when I grew her out she filled the room with a grape taffy candy smell. Amazingly after a good flush and cure she tasted exactly the same! A nice grape candy flavor, gotta say she has been one of my tastiest strains so far. I'm growing Killing fields this year, I've heard a lot of good things about KF so I gave it a shot.

Weed tastes the best out of a mini-bong like this imo, and always is more flavorful with crushed ice in the water

Guinness and Leffe Blond taste nothing alike, just like Paulaner Hefeweizen tastes nothing like Stone Arrogant bastard. Different styles, different flavors. To me, I don't get the night and day difference between different strains like I would styles of beer.

They all taste different to me.

I always assumed most of the names came from appearance more than anything.

I never even really pinned down a *taste* until I vaped weed for the first time. The taste is much more prevalent on the exhale, and I fine I like a long slow exhale to really get the flavor. Since then, I've started to really notice taste out of a bong, bubbler, or joint. I've not had much luck identifying taste out of a bowl.

since the vaping incident, I havnt had the chance to try out many different types of weed. I've had some headies from out of town that had a sort of pine taste, maybe with a hint of lemony stuff in there, and then I've smoked some in town headies that was definitely straight spice, almost made me sweat kinda.

If you're looking for the difference between apples and oranges, I don't think you'll find it. To me, it comes down to 3 basic flavors: Pine, Berry and Diesel (or skunk). In my personal experience, properly prepared marijuana (fully matured, properly dried and cured...) has been some permutation of the above flavors. I think that the beer brewing process affords more variables in producing a particular flavor.
