Broke a Branch

Just like the title states.. I broke a branch accidentally today while trimming foliage around one of my babies so she would get a little more light. She is about 3-4 weeks in to flower so how much will it slow flowering? What are the chances of it stressing her into hermie? If anyone out here has any experience with this, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

im confused, why would breaking a branch cause hermie?

Just tie and tape it back up. It'll be fine most likely

Their is a 19.9 percent chance it will hermie now and it slowed the flowering time by 6 hours and 27 minutes!

I get to reading things that people post and it makes me paranoid to say the least. ha.. It was an upper branch and was only hanging by a thread so I just cut it completely off. I've read that trimming branches during flower can stress a plant into going hermie. I just want to know what to watch for.. I come here for advice from people having similar issues and it seems like 80% of the answers I get are sarcastic smart-ass remarks. Thanks to everyone that actually gives me useful info!

Hi ya blazin :-) Glad you got your answer :hump: I broke a big branch doin' some LST (not so LOW stress  and I tie-wrapped it. The branch survived and has a 6 inch cola, amongst a bunch of other buds and the plant is still a she :bigjoint:

Regarding the sarcastic remarks. The folks who help here don't get paid. And they put up with lots of the same questions, day in and day out. Please don't begrudge them a bit of levity. They (We) aren't laughing at you ;-) But this is a social site and it's fun to keep it light and entertaining while also helping. And ya gotta admit mr sunshine's reply was fukin funny right? Having fun with the hermie question in general, while also pokin' fun at the "any stress and she'll hermie" fallacy. Please accept the wiseass replies along with the good info. As many times they will also contain nuggets of wisdom.

Hey and good luck with your grow bongsmilie
