Broad mites/cyclamen mites or maybe heat stress?

Hi guys,

My plants are showing some curly/cupping leaves. I’m thinking mites.
Hoping it might be the heat. It was around 88 past couple days.
What do you guys think? Or am I completely off?

stats:

83-85 fahrenheit
55-65 humidity
RDWC
Ec ~1.0
Ph was crashing the past days. I have done a res change. Currently sitting at 6.2.

Plants where sleeping when the photo’s where taken.

It looks like heat stress to me. Invest in a jewelers loupe or pocket microscope etc. to check for mites, it will also help when it's time to decide when to harvest to check the trichomes. Good luck.

If using LED lights, 83-85 air temp is just about perfect.
Leaf temps will be 3-5 degrees cooler due to transpiration.

Thanks for weiging in. I own a pocket microscope. Cant see any mites, but these ones are susposed to be really hard to see.

You think the 88 might have caused this? Or is that safe range?

I do have airconditioning in the room, but if u close the windows, that will decrease my co2 way to fast..

Unless your grow room is completely sealed, I'd be a lot more concerned with controlling the temp rather than worrying about CO2 levels.
Leaves look like pH issue from my experience
Has situation improved since u posted pic and changed res?

Right! Recovering from a stroke lol.. I reread and noticed he had his light off I was assuming the temps from an HID could be too close and hotter than the ambient temps. I should have asked more questions.

The res change still gave some PH problems, but after adjusting (raised to 1.2) the EC, it has been more stable. I.e. only dropping 0.3 in 24 hours.

The plants seem to be happier now. Less twisting and cupping.

They are still dimmed, at 70%, 550 watts total, 30inches.
