I watched the vid and it was dead on....funny stuff as well. Yes, Americans get blotto on the weekends....we prefer domestic violence rather than football matches....we don't like to beat up strangers....just our loved ones...

i got drunk but not that drunk. i hardly ever drink any more. smoking is the way forward
also, they probably paid about 50 quid for their night out. i paid 10 and had a better time by the looks of it.

You would be amazed to know that a study in 2007 ranked the uk 4 place in the world in marijuana consumption. US 5th place. Things are different here in the UK. People don't really smoke to relax. Its just somthing they do. Like drinking. And harder drugs. There are very few alternatives for UK and Irish residents.

but serioulsy i would liek to see the beautiful game take off over there but i feel that it is too fast and the tv networks over there would not be able to smother it with commercials?, am i right lads??

As an American let me just start out by saying..... you are 100% correct. 
Americans perceive football (we call it soccer, don't ask me why) as a slow game, but it is the opposite. For pure endurance and athleticism, football is right up there. Also, in college I played Rugby as a second string wing man for the city of Louisville, Kentucky. that was one of the most brutal four months of my life.... I'm still looking for one of my teeth..... The very first loose ball I encountered I instinctively dove on it as a fumble....got the sh*t kicked out of me....lesson learned. I could hear my mates yelling "LET IT GO!!!"
