So after slight tweaks throughout my first grow I've decided to document and answer any questions posted to my journal. My grow area is a closet roughly 5'x2'x5'. I painted the lighting area white. 2x 54 watt sunblaster cfl with reflector hood. One plant maxx light one blue for veg and red for bloom.

Ken more humidifier, old school galaxy oscillating fan, random dry Nutes with correct Npk ratios I need for veg and bloom cycles. Spray bottle syringes to measure out Nutes.

I am currently at day 42. I have had 0 issues thus far with this plant and it easily passed from veg to bloom. As soon as my real leaves were bigger than the seed leaves I began giving it 3ml of my veg Nutes and moved up so accordingly also giving it equal amount of water after fed Nutes. Before I switched to bloom Nutes I was giving it 12ml of Nutes. Then eased into bloom Nutes at 12 ml. Currently at day 42 I give it 24 ml of bloom nute and water every two days.

I will eventually get an hps but for now I have two really good cfls. Use plant maxx and blue spectrum bulb until it passes into flower then switch to red spectrum and plant maxx. Keep the bulbs as close as possible but keep an eye so that it doesn't burn your plants. I run on a 20/4 light cycle the whole time. My lights have reflector hoods which boast 300% increase in lighting but who knows.

I'm growing organic so I'm using black gold soil and my own mix of perlite and verm. Using a bucket from Home Depot, classic orange filled 5/6 of the way up. I sowed my seed directly into my final pot, per directions I've found on growing auto flowers. Make sure the soil is loose and plant 3/4 inch into dirt. Water 3ml. Until shows then refer to nute regime above.

I know it's my first grow but I have recently engaged in some cropping techniques and have almost developed my own personal variation. I want you to think bonsai weed. A combination of lst and hst techniques to maximize space and growth. I have basically bent my plant into place around my Home Depot bucket, maximizing leaf exposure ensuring maximum possible photosynthesis being done. I clip any leaves I see that are 40% shade unless I can bend into light.

I take all my clippings dehydrate, grind them up and keep them in a mason jar and I will use the iso extraction technique to harvest the pollen which I will then take and press in my pollen press. Do not take leaves just because you want to, more leaves means more activity, only take a leaf if its not pulling its weight. I don't spray my leaves.

I have my fan set to medium and my humidifier to 80%. They run non stop. No air filter needed thus far, very limited smell.

Autoflowers have by far the longest germ time I have ever seen. I've Germed schwag bag seeds that pop in two days , these took close to a week so be patient. I used the paper towel technique and put it on window sill. Make sure it stays damp for 7 days. Plant root down.

The seeds I bought are auto seeds auto #1. Seed to harvest in 60-70 days. With my cfl grow I'm expecting roughly 7-14 grams of dried final product. I could change that if I get an hps, I will eventually.

I will cure my herb before I smoke it. I'll dry it out using a dehumidifier and a paper bag. I'll cure it in a mason jar.

Current observations of my plant. Five days ago I bent my plant into a circle to maximize the growth. The theory is you can keep your plant short and maximize leaf surface area. I also trimmed under exposed leaves. Currently my plant is knotting up around the areas I bent. The tricomes on the hairs are clear and white. The smell is mild if any. I'm roughly 18-28 days from harvest.

It's day 43, today I rearranged the branches and made hooks with coat hangers to maximize leaf/bud exposure to light. I made s hooks that would hang off the light and support the branch as close as possible to light without burning it. I also cut away all bud sites I deemed not worthy/ or would not benefit from this new arrangement of my flowers. I have a magnifying glass I glance at my tricomes and they're still majority clear. I'm roughly 17-27 days until harvest as right now I would say I have a solid quarter dried.

Way old I know, but I think it's a big no-no to supercrop an autoflower. Someone with more exp could tell you for sure. Just an FYI if you're looking for info on Auto#1 grows and came across these scary pics. :-(
