Week 6| Day 36
Decided I didn't have enough flexible wire to tie the LST photo down how I wanted. So made a scrog. First pic is right after bending into the scrog and watering 1/2 gal. Feed was 1/3 milk and tsp of FF Big Bloom. Figured regular FF dose knocks pH of tap to like 2.8. So another milk+Big Bloom should land closer to neutral pH.
3hrs later
The auto I gave half tsp of FF tiger bloom with 1/3 milk, but she got more like 2/5ths a gal total feed since she doesn't drink quite as fast. First one pic is right after watering. Second one 3hrs later(just now).
I wanted to get these plant caddies I saw at Walmart like a months ago, now they got Christmas stuff taking over with gardening stuffs "out of season". Just curious how healthy roots stay with the bottom staying moist/not breathing.
Also, when I water I mix in a gallon jug. Then pour that into a red cup(16oz) with a slight flex in its rim for a spout. I light dribble everywhere to moisten the surface. Otherwise your watering is likely to just find a path to rush out the bottom/sides(fabric pots). Repeat with the 2nd cup. Then I wait about 10-15min for water to redistribute and moisten evenly. When plants get really dry like mine with slightly limp leaves, the soil tends to tighten/harden up. After the first 2 cups, I rotate the pot giving slight squeezes - just enough to feel the soil slightly move. My bro science thought says that should help expose any really dry spots if they're in there. Then pour the last 2 cup fulls more quickly, but still evenly.
