Bounce some ideas off me

Hey guys harvested 2 of the girls on dec 31... My rh was ideal the first few days of drying but not any more.... I had just woke up for a breakfast mint and sprayed my clones n checked up on the two I had hanging up the rh is only at 33 it was 50 when I went to bed.... I've been drying in a literal dryer in a basement.... Besides spritzing a bit of water on the walls what's a good way to raise the humidity... The first night rh was at 60 so I adjusted the humidifier accordingly... The next few days it was at 50.... And now it's at 33...I'm only on the 4th day and I don't want that fucking hay smell/taste.... During summer it took about 6 days.... But I'm on day 4 and they r just as dry as they would be on day 6 in summer..... It's about 63 degrees yes a bit chilly but better than humid.... U think I should run a load of laundry to get the moisture back in the air? What would u do

do you mean a clothes dryer? I hope not but....

i would hang them in a box or closet, somewhere the amount of buds you have nearly fills the amount of space. This causes the buds themselves to put enough humidity in the air as they dry. If they are getting to humid in the small space you can easily add a fan to lower the humidity.

If you got a few buck to spend buy a hydrostat and hook it to a computer fan exhausting your box, this will allow you to easily control the humidity.

Yeah my old washing machine/ dryer broke over summer.... So I've been using my old "double stack" to dry my mmj.... During summer it was perfect.... Dark dry and discreet...hmm hydrostat I'll have to look into that for next time... Any good brands to look for or stay away from.... I'd like to not use a fan.... Dried out way to quick for my liking the last time I tried that tasted like hay... But the time before was perfect.... I guess that's the dif between seasons....good for xp I guess..... Hmm i just may try and run laundry.... It just sweats the whole basement for a couple hrs.... But I do have a humidifier,,,,, so I may try this.... I'll let y'all know a bit later gonna brain storm some more.... I looked around for some boxes but I only got an old cereal box and that's not enough room

Use the humidifier, that is what it used for lol. I have a humidifier and de-humidifier in my drying room. I can set the humidity digitally on both of them that I want and they will make sure my room stays perfect, not humid enough then the humidifer kicks on, too humid then the de-humidifier kicks in. Simple.

I meant de humidifier.... Damn I look like an idiot now lol....well since I have a DEhumidifiar I'm running a load of laundry.... Only thing I could think of besides water.. I'll let u know what happens..... Looks like I need to look into a humidifier now lol.... Sometimes u gotta laugh at yourself..... If I hadn't learned I'd be dead by now lol...

Most of my grows are pretty small so i don't need a lot of space to dry, and i'm guessing if your fitting it in a dryer then your only drying a few ounces to a lb. I use a large rubbermaid tote, prolly about 50 to 75 gal, its around 4.5ft long x 2.5ft wide and 3 feet tall. I have a computer fan mounted in one end and a hole in the other with a foam insert in it. As the buds dry the water that comes out of them keeps the box very humid if not exhausted, 80%+. the controller, humidistat/hygrostat is set to the desired %humidity and slowly lowered over a week or so. What it does is only turn the fan on when the humidity gets over the set point.

Awesome idea man yeah ill prolly end up with a few zips after I chop the last one... I'm still in my learning process but man have I came a far way!!! Lol that tote idea is pretty awesome... U gotta pic of it? How much did ur hydrostat cost any certain brand names to buy or not buy and what did you use for your foam on the far end neoprene? I may try this in the future...sounds like it would work well kinda like an oversized cigar box!! Cool man thanks for the idea

Well laundry stalled drying one more day....jarred up the fast bud last night got a rh of 63 this morning. Perfect..dried a little faster but my teazer wasn't to harsh.... The smell is already coming back so I should be fine. Fast bud got me 16 g dry and my akr got 23.5..... I have one akr and a couple mixes from short stuff finushing out
