They will one way or another as the BSI standards are at least equal, if not higher, than EU standards so will have to be met.@diyled
One more year and you are no longer in the EU so no need for CE certifications/markings
UK already does, it's called the British Standards Institute.will prob still need them or something different as the uk will still adopt many of the same laws etc as now also to sell to europe you would need them
I took it as personal and asked vendor for a quick video with ppfd reading. Now everybody can see data are real and not bull**itI cannot trust you on words alone. I will give my money to someone who is worth it. Sorry, this is how I work.
Copy pictures to computer and go to https://imgbb.com/. Upload them and copy link to this thread. Simple and fast process, no excuses. Right?
That's nice, really thank you.I took it as personal and asked vendor for a quick video with ppfd reading. Now everybody can see data are real and not bull**it
Reading taken on the outer perimeter of the tent and also other random points, but ppfd numbers are almost identical to what they have already posted
I would not.I would recommend.
Spectrolight. pl
Was about to post the same! 3000k supposed to be coming soon. Similar spec to g84s board, but half the size.Samsung LM301B board from Germany:
https://led-tech.de/en/ZEUS-308-High-Performance-PCB-4000k
Only available in 4000K and 5000K
Wrong math. Was about to post the same! 3000k supposed to be coming soon. Similar spec to g84s board, but half the size.
Also worth to mention: led-tech.de also sell osram 660nm strips at 25e / 25 W.
Flowerbologna boards x 4= 320 versus
Zeus 308 in 4000k x 4 + 2 x 25w Osram 660nm= 65x4 + 2x25= 310
Also, flower bologna was talking about making a board with 20 osrams for enhanced flower, a bit more expensive but very nice.Wrong math.
Zeus 308 x 4=279.60
At this price you will get 308 watt of light, passive cooling.
4 projects 342 are 517watt of light with no need for heatsink
If you want more than 80 watt from Zeus 308, add heatsink cost.
I prefer a board that cost 10€ more, with better coverage (twice the surface=unifiun spread of light accris canopy) and no need for heatsink.
Try to compare reading from hlg550 at 515w to 4 projects 342 board...you will easily find out who is the winner, considering uniformity and total PPF output. It is better a board with higher surface than a board that put too many chip close together
Did you see these? Also, flower bologna was talking about making a board with 20 osrams for enhanced flower, a bit more expensive but very nice.
I saw a mention of them on the other thread. But unless these boards absolutely blows away the other boards were testing i think im going to source from eu suppliers. Price is not so much different when you add shipping/handling/customs and there are some good offerings here eu now. Maybe even better than the US.Did you see these?
Pcb size:900*280mm,40s13p lm561c S6 diode.
20s4p Osram 660nm diodes.this design mixed lm561c diode with Osram LED.
It was from another thread.
@chuckduck was offered these, from China.
Look closer at the likes of AliExpress, an example is a MarsHydro tent and light, 70*70*120cm and their "300W" light for €120 plus €12 shipping to me as the supply is held in Germany for EU customers so there is no "handling/customs" to consider whatsoever as it is seen as being sent from within the EU.I saw a mention of them on the other thread. Rita is allright but not the easiest person to deal with. Wants to sell what she has and not necessarily what you need.
And that board being s6 and osrams being genuine is a laugh. BTW is there a price on that board?
The 800 boards will probable end up as side light at maybe 100w each.
5 or 6 project 342 board will run passive at 100-120watt each,no heatsinkI would like to ask a question what could I get to run a 600 watt fixture to run passive like my cob rig. Do I need heat sinks ? And if so where in the EU can I order them.
Im afraid both Mars an Aliexpress are big nonos for me. Even if from within the EULook closer at the likes of AliExpress, an example is a MarsHydro tent and light, 70*70*120cm and their "300W" light for €120 plus €12 shipping to me as the supply is held in Germany for EU customers so there is no "handling/customs" to consider whatsoever as it is seen as being sent from within the EU.
I ain't recommending the package, I'm just saying to look closer at some things because you may get a pleasant surprise.
A picture of samsung packaging, even with bin info on it, is not really a sign of original diodes, at least if the the diodes were mounted by the alibubbas.Well, there are picture of original Samsung packing with bin on it.It should be a good sign of original board.
