Bluelab conductivity meter, operator error?

Things less then a month old. I’m expecting a replacement.
I would get the money back then get the leap , it is only a bit more and a better overall unit IMO. I love the lead allows me to not have to hunch over to take direct measurements in the medium as well as being a faster probe overall. I havent used the pen style meter for soil/medium but If possible I would get $$ back then just get a leap probe. They also make one with a PPM probe in the same meter for even more or whatever, but I have no experience with that EC probe for soil/mediums

what does everyone use for their ph meter? I had a apera that broke so I'm thinking i might go bluelab now. i had my apera for like 2 years.

As you know I have the bluelab ph and ec but I also got the ph soil probe.
which I kinda prefer to test ph in feed, soil, and run off.
I hardly ever reach for the ph pen.
