I called an electrican, lol its a $1800 job. Its my house so I guess its do for a little upgrade anyways
i can walk you through the install... not too difficult.. but if you are able to go ahead and pay for it to be done.. then you can have peace of mind knowing it was done my a professional..
For in the install I mentioned to you in messages.. you will have to pull wires from your panel to your room,
two 12 awg 3wire (12/3) romex... one for each 20A double pole breaker... you will know the length from panel to room plus 5 - 10 ft for connections...
one 14 awg 2wire (14/2) romex... one for a single 15A single pole breaker... for the plugs around the room.... for fans and such..
one 14 awg 2wire (14/2) romex... one for a single 15A breaker to feed the A/C unit..
Two double pole 20A breakers same brand as your panel..
Two 15A single pole breakers same brand as your panel..
at least six outlet boxes..
4 x 20A "t-slot" outlets... allows 15A and 20A plugs to fit and is good for up to 20A
at least 2 regular 15A outlets, one for the a/c, and at least one for the fans... put up to ten if you like.. but u r still governed by the 15A breaker..
The you will need the proper connectors to get the wires into the panel, look at your panel you will see what i mean..
and finally staples to hold the wire in place throughout the ceiling and walls, secure the wire every 5 ft...
Thats the material needed minus a couple of things i must have forgot... you can run all the wires into the boxes (not the panel) and throughout your house, then call the electrician to check your work and "tie in the panel", a term used for making the connections..
That way you could save alot of money on installation and only have to pay a couple hundred dollars for a couple of hours of the guys time..
I can also walk you through the steps needed to do it yourself, but for safety, I will do it privately in a message... I dont want someone reading a bit of the instructions and thinking they can do it no problem... If you are going to open your panel and do work I would have to write up a proper tutorial.. for everyone to use.. my instructions may be specific to your situation and I dont want to have someone misinformed and trying to do work on their home with their family living in it..
so I will give advice on tying into the panel, but privately until I am able to do a proper tutorial..
