I have 3 currently, just laid my oldest male to his final rest 2 months ago. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, but cats are way better. Cat owners are the purrrfect kinda people.About to go take my cat to be fixed. I gave up trying to give her the anti anxiety meds without food about 3 bites and 15 gouges in. The poor vet tech who opens the carrier is gonna get the face hugger treatment...

If your girl won't take the meds (very common with cats), try crushing it up into a powder and add it to a liquid squeeze treat. She won't know the difference and guarantee she'll take it all.
Fasting for surgery, they told me no churu/squeezes even though they are fairly low volume.
I love cats but was always allergic. Now I'm probably gonna end up a 2 dog 2 cat house, lol

Lol, been there and it's adorable to see the two bond and snuggle. My wife has been bugging me for years now to get another puppy. I still haven't let my pervious go yet. He was different and unlikely I'll find another like him. Some things are better left be. But time heals all. We'll see.
Allergies to pets suck, because unlike a flower or a peanut, they like to rub their stupid faces on you.I wish my wife wasn't allergic. We'd definitely get a cat or a dog again. I miss the pair we had

what in the crazy weather.....one day it's a nice 71 now this morning 30.....ok mothernature wtf......it will be like this the whole week, lows in the lower 30's and the upper 20's, we also have a rain storm coming in Wednesday to Friday....that will make things freaky......only good thing no insects

The big adventure is over. Brought my dad down by train for a couple of weeks. He never noticed the tents and I didn't volunteer any information. He's back home now and a good time was had by all. The train was an inspired idea, cheaper than the price of gas by car and a lot less hassle than flying.
They actually let me walk him to his seat, try that at an airport. We were able to park within 50 feet of the station, maybe 100 yards from the train. Total cost with senior discount was 98 dollars one way.

There's a huge storm over Newfoundland thats causing gale warning for the whole North Atlantic.
It's keeping all the snow away from us, pushing everything south for a few more days.
No way that other storm can even punch through...
This is going to be big one when it hits Europe.
