perfect timing today! :joint:
Yep, just finished cleaning up the drywall dust from last night, sat down to a 2g joint I rolled before I started cleaning. In the final stretch of getting this damned living room done. Just have to finish the last coat of mud on the tape, skim coat, texture, then finally prime and paint. Hope to have everything done by the beginning of August to call in carpet guys and move my 60" TV back into its home with all new in wall wiring, support.

This has taken forever (the plumbing caused the ceiling to drop into the living room in 2016.) Then as we dug further back we found everything from exterior wall, electrical, and slab problems that all needed fixing first. Mostly on the heels of a learning curve of "oh fuck how do I fix this without dropping $5k for a pro."

In week 4 of flower, plants look great and I surprisingly kept all the drywall dust away from the studio last night. Yay for dust collection and air filters. Gotta get this room done so I can fire up ventilation and dehumidifiers. Don't want those on while drywalling.

Wish I could read that. I love a true pilsner.
My favourite draught style is šnyt, says this year's best bartender Tereza Brodecká
Klára Brodecká

The best Czech bartender in the Czech Republic for this year is Klára Brodecká. At a gala evening at the Holešovice Market in Prague, she received the title of Pilsner Urquell Master Bartender. She convinced the jury with her knowledge and skills, as well as her ability to transmit her love of beer and enthusiasm to others.
The winner of the 18th year of the BeerUrquell Master Bartender competition was Klára Brodecká from The Erin's Flag Irish Pub in Brno. For the first time in history, the title of the best bartender was won by a woman. We asked her a few questions.
How did you get into beer tapping? After all, it's not exactly a women's discipline.
I got into draught beer like most of us when working in gastronomy. In my previous job, we spent most of our time alone in the pub for everything, so I got into tapping. And I found out that that's what I started to enjoy the most.

What do you appreciate about beer and what do you think a perfectly "served" pint should look like?
I can appreciate the work of other bartenders, because I know what it takes to take care of beer. You can recognize a perfect beer at first glance by its clean glass and beautiful creamy head. Then all you have to do is serve it on a beer mat with your ear to your right hand.
What's your favorite beer?
One of my favourite beer styles is definitely lagers. My favourite style of tapping is definitely šnyt. But I won't despise the good Ipa either. And in addition to beer, I also like to taste cider.

Do you also use beer as a raw material for cooking?
I like to use beer in some dishes, for example in goulash or for marinating meat.

KVÍZ: Jak velcí jste pijani piva?

Match at the tap
This year, a record 256 bartenders from the Czech Republic, 87 of whom were women, competed for the title of Pilsner Urquell Master Bartender. This year, the competition attracted a number of new bartenders – more than 170 entrants participated for the first time.
"This year we were able to see a lot of new faces, which I'm really happy about. It is good that there are more and more talented bartenders and pubs that want to offer beer of the highest quality. And it's great to see that the craft of bartenders is definitely no longer just a man's affair. In addition, our competition contributes to the growing quality of draught beer, educates bartenders and at the same time motivates them to healthy rivalry. This also helps to develop Czech beer culture, not only in the traditional 'beer towns', but throughout the Czech Republic," says Václav Berka, Chief Brewer Emeritus of Plzeňský Prazdroj and Chairman of the Expert Jury.

haha! kindred spirits!
we're hoping to take her to michigan with us next week. we're gonna get her out on sunday and see what's missing. we suspect a fair amount of hardware, unfortunately. the good news is that we're headed up to where boat shops are aplenty (as are dispo's :) :) ) so we should be able to get it all figured out. the weather looks fantastic and i can.not.wait!!!
Have a fabulous time, you've earned it

you are exactly where you need to be. we all are. ruminations about "what if's" and "should have's" do nothing but steal you away from the present moment. you have blessings and you're able to experience this life that you've built for yourself from a place of gratitude. any decision you made in the past was made with your best intentions and with the energy that you were capable of expressing then. it's easy to think, and sometimes even KNOW, that if you were given the same circumstances TODAY that yes, you would make a different decision. but that doesn't mean anything you did in the past was "wrong" per se. deep inhale LOVE, deep exhale PEACE. you got this! OH and the shrooms are medicine and help us to release our egos and see things more clearly <3
Omar Khayyam said it well " The moving finger writes; and, having writ, moves on: nor all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel half. a line, nor all thy tears wash out a word of it.
