Well, Lil Miss Frumpy Sherbet went outside today and got potted up along with the second take at GG4. Wish these little doodles luck. Getting some heavy weather the next few days so I hope they have their sea legs…..

That’s all 6 outside (sorry, I mean 4 if you’re listening CDN govt ;)

5.5 hours. He’s done!
Are you done?
This trimmer so far is of no real use to me. I can only put in about a wet ounce (a dry quarter oz) before the buds start to clump together in there. But the trim just isn't close enough to sell these buds as top tier. I had go over every bud afterward, anyway, so what really is the point? If I were just smoking it myself, who cares. But clients won't pay for a trim job like that. The blade looks as close as it can get to the grate, is there any trick to make the trim closer???

The electric model I use has a variable speed motor and I probably put 2 oz in at a time. Sometimes it clumps and I stop it and fix that. The blade has an adjustment screw. I have it as close to the grate as possible without scraping. If you want it trimmed closer run it longer. I love the dry keif it makes too

Same and the greater problem is the stopping and starting of a manual trimmer and speed variation that leads to constantly moving between static and kinetic coefficient of friction so you get some ugly buds. However they don't manicure close to the bone like hand trimming here's an example of a 3 gram bud trimmed by my electric

I'm not sure that would work for you T.

Thanks, Annie. My buds looked like that after, maybe a little better. No one is gonna pay top dollar for that kind of trim job. I guess the technology isn't there yet. I guess I'll be a caveman and stick to hand trimming. At least I gave it a shot...

Thanks, bro. Would you post a couple of pics of your buds trimmed in your machine? I'd love to check out the quality.
