outdoor babies, seeds went in on 4/2. I didn’t keep track of when they popped, so I’m calling these “four weeks old.”

these are exactly four weeks ahead of the outdoor babies. I’m not doing anything other than watering every other day. Might do some trimming next week to get rid of old leaves. Might not. Lol

Your garden has come a long way in a short period. Nicely done.

Shitty production processes and poor quality control?
They were definitely more focused on the decoration rather than utility. Just like Waterford crystal some of the value lies in the inherent fragility of luxury goods. As the poet said:

O Attic shape! Fair attitude! with brede
Of marble men and maidens overwrought,
With forest branches and the trodden weed;
Thou, silent form, dost tease us out of thought
As doth eternity: Cold Pastoral!
When old age shall this generation waste,
Thou shalt remain, in midst of other woe
Than ours, a friend to man, to whom thou say'st,
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."
