It already looks a little lighter this morning! :D

Easy day at work today. Gotta finish up a little job, drop off the work truck for service while we are off next week, and the boss is buying lunch today. After lunch, he normally tells us to take the rest of the day off. Depending on how I feel, I may stick around and swap headlight bulbs in the malibu. Gotta take bumper cover off so I'll do it in the warm shop instead of my gravel driveway.

Also, this lil gal got her first real leaves. Happy Friday!!!!

Back in 1977 I bought a 1961 les paul/sg in a pawn shop for 159 dollars, original case included. I got it pretty cheap because some idiot had changed bridges put on grover tuners and had left several extra holes. Back then it was just a used guitar that had been poorly modified. In 1978 my apartment was burglarized, they took the sg, a Martin D35 my record collection, stereo and the blankets off my bed.
Today I tuned to an episode of Trogdly's guitar show because the episode topic was "Is this a real 1961 Les Paul" and hey, I used to own one.
There it was, my guitar that had been stolen all those years ago. I would recognize the extra holes anywhere, the memory of that guitar is forever burned into my brain. 100% certain, there couldn't possibly be 2 1961 les paul/sg's with identical mis drilled holes.
