He would have to become a white guy.
all of the birth certificates, college records, and other documents will not convince the racist portion of the birthers to give up their conspiracy theory.
the conspiracy theory portion of the birthers will remain, despite the fact that they have no evidence, such as a flight or other record of obama's mother leaving the country. nor do they have any other evidence via passport/visa/etc that shows she left the country near or around the time of the birth of our president.
i have seen comparisons of 'birtherism' to 'jim crowism' before, and they seem to apply. during the days of jim crow laws, blacks, poor whites, and other minorities were often ineligible to participate in the election process. this is because no matter how many official, legitimate documents they produced, those documents had to be "approved".
who approved those documents? often, it was two clansmen at the voting station. empirical evidence supports this claim.
jim crow laws ended once these racists became the vast minority. they should have never been there in the first place, but people simply could not face the fact that BLACK MEN were allowed to vote.
birtherism is a revised version of jim crowism all over again. the only difference is that it is now against one man, instead of many.
it does not matter that the document he provided over 2 years ago, which officials higher than any of us determined was sufficient to meet all necessary criteria.
no, it does not meet YOUR standard. the same standard that was never on display for the last 43 presidencies, with the slight exception of chester arthur in 1880. kinda funny that he was the son of an IRISHMAN (were they ever unfairly hated in america?) and that the claim faded because there was never any proof.
nowadays, even 1960-1962, is much different than 1830 (when arthur was born). there should be some sort of document, such as a passport, visa, etc that shows his mother left the country. or even a flight record, or a hotel stay, or something....
where is this evidence? there is no evidence. only a rebuttal of very sufficient evidence from the other side.
basically, what the birther side is saying at this point is: i'm sorry, your documents all look good, but they do not meet OUR approval.
just like the clansmen at the voting station.
i am sure there are some people just itching for a good conspiracy theory to latch onto, bu the vast majority of these people have just accepted 'birth certificate' as the new euphemism for n***er.
there is no better explanation.
