That's nothing new...but it's not like the actual reasons for things are ever really given.
LOL you guys had it easy. In High School we read "War & Peace", "The Jungle", "Catcher in the Rye", "Don Quixote", "Gullivers Travels", "Moby Dick", "Julius Caesar", "The Great Gatsby", "Catch 22" "Waiting for the Barbarians", "Alice in Wonderland", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Nineteen Eighty Four" and of course "Romeo and Juliet". Im sure I missed a few, its been a long time, but I remember most of the books because they were good ones and affected many peoples lives and outlook on life.

Or McCain back to Panama...interesting to note that in the early 2000's McCain & Obama both voted on a bill that made it LEGAL for McCain to run for president...before that time, the statute about being born on a base was non-existent...Thus, without Obama's vote, McCain would have never even been able to run for president...So if it were ever a question of legitimacy, Obama TRUMPS McCain...wah wah....
HEHE well to be technical a NATURAL born citizen has both parents as citizens of the USA and is born on US Soil. A Native born citizen has to be BORN in the USA, but his parents citizenship does not matter. But lets not go there, its a whole other issue and the supreme court has never ruled on it.

He did, the official form recognized by both the state and the federal government wasnt enough for the idiot birthers.......sadly this will be disputed by some still, maybe no one else will say it but i will....all birthers share 2 traits:

No child left behind ya'know. We got through maybe 6 books in four years of english class where I went and spent what felt like an eternity on Merchant of Venice(like, a semester...). It was sad, the AP classes were the only ones that even got to The Scarlet Letter. Our education system is so useless... I'd say 2 of 3 different High school English teachers that I had were genuinely good teachers, it's just that when you can only expect your class to read a chapter a week if your lucky (bad neighborhood school, one of the lowest ranked in the city)... Well, you can see how that turns out pretty easy... 2 months to read a 200 page book my ass..

I gotta say, I'm relieved to see this COLB. Assuming it is on the up and up (and I have no reason to believe it is not) this means he is eligible to be POTUS. I no longer buy into the line of thought that the parents (note plural) reference in the definition of NBC automatically means both mother and father. I absolutely had my doubts. But that does not excuse his not releasing it sooner. Now if we can get transcripts and collage financial statements, and maybe an explanation for using a false SSN I'll be satisfied. And yes, I would expect to see these from any president. I had to produce them for my job, why shouldn't the leader of the free world with his finger on our nuclear arsenal.

Well, I've read some of your post and ignorance is something you obviously know all about, We have a right to know who the POTUS is, it affects our individual lives immeasurably. Prior to this release, he has never released anything other then his books. And the fact that the media is not even curious speaks volumes. Try searching for any recent presidential candidate's grades or any records, obumber is the only ones you can't find. I know it's a waste of the presidents time because it may cut into his campaigning time. What else does he do? Oh, and I'm sure Oprah will get over it.
