This is the biggest game I’ve ever taken, Tanzania in 2018. This guy was so old he had barely any hair, his teeth were worn down to the gum line and if you look closely you’ll see he has a chunk bitten out of his butt. The meat that we didn’t eat in camp went to feed the local tribes.

The skinners said 41, I had simply told the PH I wanted an old bull. Definitely a great hunt. We were in the Rungwa reserve, truly a magical place!

Sorry, I didn’t see the .458, I used a .375 H&H. If I ever hunt them again I’ll use something that starts with a 4. I’m not quite sure how I ended up posting the same picture twice. Must have been the smoke
I've got a Whitworth (M 98 action) in .375 I used guiding in Kodiak. She's never failed me & points naturally.
