Big Buddha Cheese & Sensi Super Skunk

16 days after germination, I have checked the roots and they are telling me its time for a transplant to a bigger cube. I personally dont like to have any more roots than this because the roots have started to develop and you can see that a root ball is beginning to form. I dont like any more roots than this just because they dont get any shock.

I presoaked the 6" hugo blocks in ph 5.5 for half an hour, drain them by turning them thoroughly over a bucket. Then putting the seedling into the larger cube. The ph of the cubes afterwards were 5.8. I have been feeding them ec 1.2 previously, but I have just given them plain ph adjusted tap water for this feeding. Once I have put the seedling in i cover the area over so that light doesnt get thru the gaps and slow root growth.

All of the super skunk have popped and are starting to rise from the rockwool.

The cheese only had 5 plants that looked strong enough to keep going, the others were either deformed or weeklings.

I am feeding the super skunk just plain ph 5.8 tapwater and I am feeding the cheese with ec 1.4 ph 5.8 nutrient/tapwater solution.

First pic is big buddha cheese second is sensi seedbank super skunk

Its been 22 days since the bb cheese started germination and 7 days since the super skunk started.

The super skunk is doing really well and only 1 out of the 10 has fell behind, the seed germinated and the seed head started lifting but it hasnt got any further yet.

I havent fed either of them for 36 hours now as the cubes are still moist.

OMG how much for them seeds that weed been around for years in south of england and seeds are avalible off any local grower its thre underground strain and seed companys got hands on it commerciaised bolloxs but good look its such nice smoke dude but fucking stinks and its it original cheese or cheese x skunk?
No mate. Cheese has never come in seed form. Original cheese was clone only. There were no males. The cheese you get now is Afghan x Cheese5. An Afghan male was bred with a female cheese. The resultant seed, a male was selected to breed with another female cheese. The resultant seed, a male was selected to breed with another female cheese etc...

I crave original cheese, unfortunately all there is now is this version. BB cheese. It's nice, just not AS nice. Most people don't know the difference anyway.

They're looking good NGT. Let's hope there's a nice, fat mommy in there somewhere.
I'm hoping all the fems are fat enough to be mummies, I'm only working with dwc and those 6" cubes wont go in one lol, I'm going to do the same with the super skunk. I'm going to have a lot of space to fill. After what I have growing at the moment is finished and dried ;-) I'm going to get myself another 2 600w's

Day 24 since the cheese went into germination

Day xx since the super skunk went into germination.

I have been feeding the cheese just straight water for a little while and I am starting to see some deficiencies, I am just waiting for the cube to dry out a little more and then I will give them some ec 1.6 ionic grow, + liquid silicon + super drive. I am misting them with plagron phyt-amin, once every 5-7 days.

The super skunk had a feed yeseterday, they had a formulex solution, I am feeding them at a rate of 5ml per litre.

In the above pic you can see that all the cheese are in the big blocks.

The plants top left and top right, i have decided to pull the plug on, they are just too weak to waste nutrients on. It seems kinda expensive cus these seeds were like 10 bucks each but they are not going to be strong enough to be mums so they have to perish.

Tonight i plan to put all the super skunk into the 6" cubes

4 weeks since the cheese germ'd and they are looking pretty nice now, I can see a few clones already, but I am going to wait until i can see sex in veg before i clone.

13 days since the super skunk germ'd I dont know if these things are moving slowly or not either that or they have super root systems instead of lots of leaf growth.

I can see a number of potential clones now, so preparation for cloning has commenced. I am soaking 35 (36mm) rockwool cubes, they didnt have my normal round cubes in so i had to get square ones :(.

I altered the ph of the soak water to 5.5, and I have put all the cubes in now. In around half an hour I will be pulling them out to let them drain.

Good work, NGT. Don't worry about the size, nothing could be as bad as my chronic x white russian plants. They just seem to be standing still, not drinking anything.

I'm going to buy myself a new strain soon. I'm getting itchy fingers.
