NO!!! Those seeds are likely to be even more herm happy than the mother.. 'Feminized seeds' are selfed from mothers that have been put through extensive stress testing for hermism, and honestly I don't even consider those safe enough to play with myself since selfing results in genetic mutations that add internal stressors of sorts.. If BigBud is known to be herm happy, then you may be onto something tilemaster.. Thank your lucky stars that plant was far from intake since that likely mitigated the damage to the rest of the plants upwind..
Basically what I'm saying is male seeds are very comforting to see.. The last thing I'd want is apparently feminized bag-seed..
From what I saw though, the grouping was odd.. Several seeds growing in one spot, and those were all you found?? Perhaps the sac is buried in the bud below.. Or perhaps pollen clustered? I've seen buried sacs.. Herms come in every degree, from a single staminate flower, to a 50/50 split.. Then again, if all other plants are upwind, perhaps another plant is the offender..
Anyways there is no point whining that you ended up with a couple seeds in your crop if thats all there is, (especially if some are male, because I LOVE a few good regular seeds in a bag of really nice weed) I'd tell you to keep a close eye on things, but that would be kind of pointing out the obvious..

So as i found it today..if u comb through all the top and bottom nugs of the bigbud..turning each 1 ...takes time..but this seed pod looking shit is on almost all of em...just here and there..just like the picture. i try to take some more pics tommorow of the differnt sites that this is occuring.

Acually the checical treatments are easy (GA or various ionic silver solutions) its the testing for resilience thats tough.. Hope things work out.. Thanks for preventing me from ever trying BB in the future..

Hermied seeds typically produce 1/3 fem's, 1/3 sterile, and 1/3 herm's.

ya im not planting none of theses seeds..that 1/3 shit is for the birds..especially since the hermies appartently appear female for a quite some time.. checked this morning..ya there diffenently pregnanat calaxys.. there not everywhere on the big bud..but at least 1 grouping on each bud down low. so wierd. everything else still looks normal. thanks for lookn out for me on this 1 crackerJax appreciate it ...

I just noticed the same issue with my Big Bud lady that is starting week 7 of flower.

She's the only plant right now but I did chop a couple of young males a few weeks back.

My temps were high 80s for a couple days but I watered yesterday and she looked fine.

This morning she has similar looking seed sacs everywhere, but mostly the top of each bud grew about an inch and is covered with these little sacs.

I was bummed since this is my first grow and I attributed this to my inexperience but it's good to know about the BB genetric trait.

At this point I'm going to watch & wait. If the worse that happens is that I get a few seeds I can live with that since this is a personal grow.

If I do get seeds I will grow them as an experiment to see what they yield and post the results - that's how we learn right?

yeah no problem...did ur BigBud come from seedstock or clone...wut vendor? strain? ya apparently its prone to hermie late in flower. u shouldnt have any problems considering theres nothing for the plant on its own to pollinate except itself.. let me know how it fairs.....

wow, a lot has come to light. i looked back of my bc big bud notes, and do remember 3 plants, that had a similar self incidence. these where all (3)clone plants, from the mother of other non-self occurances, meaning rooted and matured clones. 3 out of 40 had this trait. i noted those 3 had suffered a lil' excess heat(stress). what kind of conclusion can be made? don't count on those seeds as your future stock, and keep an eye on that plant now, and future cuttings, of the original stock. i think your in the clear, and i wish your excellent lookin' grow all the best.
