You're deflecting. What does that have to do with New York spending millions on hotels for immigrants? But anyways, I do like your governor.
they have to put them somewhere, or would you like them on the streets, you got a spare bed?

and btw they are doing it down here too......open hotels and motels are for the migrants at this time, paid for by the Catholic Church, now if Abbott didn't send migrants to NY like he's not supposed to do, cause that's human trafficing, you wouldn't be complaining right?

republicans dont do anything to support their unhoused, (homeless is the incorrect word) now nor their veterans, its the same ole stick each time

wah wah immigrants, we dont help our unhoused but we dont help them anyways we never had

republicans are actively trying to make being unhoused illegal and throw people in jail for being unhoused, thats not helping anyone.

If you want to help the unhoused you can but it is a separate entity from immigrants. and gasp! you can care about two or more issues simultaneously

I guess you were a fan of the whole locking children up in cages, is that what was reversed that you didnt like , children being torn apart from their mothers and thrown in cages or ?

Giving them cell phones and free lodging in nice hotels isn't going to deter anyone. I think we should be taking care of our own homeless problems we already have here instead. Or better yet use the funds to help out our veterans. I could go on and on about the border.

MAGA, as in make the border look like it did in the 1980's? It would be more accurate if you said that we need to get the border back to where it was under Obama. Today's crisis began in 2018. Tell me, who was president at that time? The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

I get that to Trump supporters, cruelty is the point. Never mind that seeking asylum is legal and the "problem" you trumpet is due to underfunding the courts that process asylum and other cases involving illegal immigration. Cell phones and safe refuge for asylyum seeking is seen as too soft to some but I saw the death camps in Mexico at the border and the policies of the Trump administration that included kidnapping children who crossed the border with their parents as something far worse than keeping people warm, safe and in touch with legal representation.

I find your pearl clutching about how we could be giving that money to programs for the homeless hilarious, BTW.

First one I fact checked seems to indicate the phone thing is basically a lie. Not really confused anymore, starting to see most of this open border talk is also not true. Thanks for trying though, better luck next time.

That last statement is ridiculous. Nobody wants children treated poorly. And Biden is the one who has them in cages now.

Where's your evidence to prove me wrong about the phones?

The Democrats want to blame Trump and everyone before Biden but that facts are pretty clear. Watch if you dare.

There are no consequences for people that try to come here illegally and they know it.
Kinda like why crime has gotten so bad in Democratic cities.

I know I won’t change your mind. But newcomers may not recognize your post for the thrice-distilled Big Lie maga sloganeering it is.

As far as crime and Democratic ran cities explain why people are leaving them for Red States.

The report said "main reasons given for the movement, people told Newsweek, were politics, the cost of living, taxation—and crime. " You use statistics like a drunk uses a lamp pole. You use them for support, not illumination. Regardless of the headline, that article pretty much debunks that idea.

Per national data, Houston and Arlington, two of Texas's top cities, crime rates are not significantly different from that of San Francisco and their murder rates are many times greater than that of SF. So, I'd answer your question: "As far as crime and Democratic ran cities explain why people are leaving them for Red States.", I'd say they aren't. Maybe they listen to yokels who cite crappy articles and repeat their perception when asked, but in reality, they aren't really moving because of crime. They give other reasons, politics, cost of living and taxation as well.

People move for plenty of good reasons. I chose to leave CA decades ago to move to Idaho for a better job offer. I moved to Oregon for the same reason. They all have fairly low crime rates. In fact the US has low crime rates compared to what it was during the mythical MAGA era of Ronald Reagan.

So, you use statistics, I can use statistics too. What you cited was perception, I'll see you that and raise you with reality.

So a phone that can’t make “phone calls” is IYO a phone? But yes it did/does seem like a bit of a failure. You still didn’t explain how a border that detains people for illegal entry is “open”? Anywho, I can see your mind, like a few of my southern buddies, is made up and no amount of clarity will change that. God help you all :(.

Is he a lying?

MIKE DAVIS (GUEST): I've never been called sweet, and you called me sweet ginger. So, I think I am, Ben. But during my three week reign of terror as Trump acting attorney general before I get chased out of town with my Trump pardon, I will rain hell on Washington, D.C. We've talked about this, Ben. I have five lists, ready to go and they're growing. List number one, we're gonna fire. We're gonna fire a lot of people in the executive branch, in the deep state. Number two, we're gonna indict. We're gonna indict Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and James Biden and every other scumball, sleazeball, Biden, except for the five year old granddaughter who they refused to acknowledge for five years until the political pressure got to Joe Biden.

Number three, we're gonna deport. We're gonna deport a lot of people, 10 million people and growing - anchor babies, their parents, their grandparents. We're gonna put kids in cages. It's gonna be glorious. We're gonna detain a lot of people in the D.C. gulag and Gitmo. And list number five, I'm gonna recommend a lot of pardons. Every January 6th defendant is gonna get a pardon, especially my hero horn man. He is definitely at the top of the pardon list.

I clicked on the links in that inflammatory article you cited and they said nothing about phones nor did they confirm the costs.

Am I supposed to do the fact checking for you? I don't think I do. Your link smells like bullshit, it looks like bullshit, if you want to prove its not bullshit, the burden is yours. Near as I can tell, your posts are looking more and more like obvious trolling but its not my call to make.

That link is from ABC News which is left leaning. Not sure why you think it's inflammatory.

ABC News is left LEANING. LOL that you thinks this validates their article to liberals like me. I'm much more data and facts driven, which is why I looked into the links provided in that article. Those links do nothing to confirm the claims made in that article.

The facts are, DHS does not provide free transportation to immigrants, nor do they provide free phones with free access to the internet or phone calls. Those devices are tracking tools and used instead of more expensive alternatives such as detention or ankle bracelets.

You were given a link from AP that confirms this. The source of that lie came from a border sheriff from Bumfuck Nowhere, TX which is usually where bullshit like that is made and then repeated by obvious trolls as fact.
