"Biden White House Sandbags Staffers, Sidelines Dozens for Pot Use"

The White House said in February that admitting to past marijuana use on background check forms would not automatically disqualify candidates for White House jobs. But several knowledgeable sources told The Daily Beast that dozens had been fired, placed on probation, or put in a remote-work program because they had acknowledged previous drug use. All Presidents are law and order Presidents. Never seen one that wasn't. So they say.
Trump was a criminal president, not a law and order or law abiding president.

If congress put a pot legalization or rescheduling bill on Joe's desk he would sign it. About a half dozen were fired for pot but many more were not, perhaps they only fired the chronics! If you work in the WH you work for Joe in a high profile job, often with lot's of responsibility, agreeing not to smoke pot while you are employed by the WH is not a real big ask. Pot is still illegal under federal law, perhaps those fired were from states where it was still illegal?

Joe is also commander and chief of the armed forces, they have their own pot policy and it doesn't matter what state you are from. Change the law, this seems more about legal and ethical consistency than about Joe's personal preferences. The democratic base is all for legalization of pot, the GOP is somewhat split on the issue and legalization might make a good issue to divide them with in 2022, since 67% want legalization.

Right? Ah man if only people could choose the right one.
Smart people do if informed. The problem is the two major parties continually squish competition with their wealthy contributors paying for those ads we see on TV during elections. Then they continually restrict third parties from entering the ballot with required signature quotas that supercede their own. It must change by proclaiming our Liberties.

We now know that to be a lie. Only 5 people were let go.

So once again what we have are pot smokers making up stories about being mass victims when only 5 people were effected. And those 5 were probably the ones that the same article said lied on their applications and were discovered by the FBI background checks.

DIY, my point is that when campaigning they all claim to be a "law and order" candidate. If you were to ask Dumpf he would certainly tell you he was a law and order President. My experience tells me that in some ways there two sets of laws in America.
And CNN reports that while five were fired or resigned, there are more who have to work from home, etc.

When I quit growing/smoking for my job, I gave my entire seed collection to my best friend. I had a pack from Thug Pug that I hadn't touched yet...it was called Afterglow, I believe it was OGKB x OGKB and he found an outstanding female in that pack. He says that is the best tasting weed he's ever grown and smoked, doesn't produce worth a shit though. He just keeps it around to throw a couple clones in each room to keep for his personal stash

I don't know if you can still find Afterglow seeds for sale anywhere, but I could get a couple cuttings for you if you want
I got my job with fake poss. Lab test too. I know it might not be worth the risk to you. That's understandable when It comes to a career but I had no problems with it .. its called monkey business or some shit lol

And for the record. Everyone knows joe is nothing but a remote control hand n head. He’s not coherent half the time. Does that mean we are fucked? No! Hilary ran the country for years n did ok. So who knows. I know I personally look at the government as armed thugs just like the courts and the cops. So I try to avoid them in every instance.
lulz bbbut Hillary?

Trump and his slack-jawed idiot followers are so 2020.

Biden is president now and the US just finished vaccinating 50 million people. Trump's Mar a Lago was just declared a covid hot zone. What a contrast in leadership.

It was tongue in cheek. There is no right party, only parties that are less shitty than others.

People who refer to the "both sides are bad" trope about Congress are having difficulty understanding how much has changed with politics these days.

White liberals should take their hair shirts off and stop beating themselves. Trump's party wants to dismantle our democracy. It's not even the same party any more. The difference is so stark that the "both sides bad" argument has become an excuse for their attack on the Capitol Building and subsequent acquittal of Trump after he was impeached for treason.

Them: The people in that building deserve death. We will enact laws that restrict voting rights to rightwing anti democratic authoritarians. Trump can do anything he wants and we will follow him.

Democrats: We are becoming a multiracial democracy. We believe in good government for everyone.

Hair shirt wearing white liberals: bbbut Biden fired five people for some reason that included drug use while retaining others. Also, lobbyists.

We did this once already and I gave up early because it didn't seem like it was going anywhere, but something I noticed was that you perceive any critique towards dems and being the same as saying, "they're all the same", but that's not what I've said at all. So maybe let's work in the reverse and you tell me what you dislike about dems. Because there's no way any group is perfect, so let's hear your critique for dems and the manner that's acceptable to express it.

The both sides bad argument died when Trump was caught trying to bribe Ukraine.

The two sides are not even in the same universe.

I agree, hell I'd say it died long before that, but unfortunately, I can clearly see you weren't even able to read my post. I'm guessing it's because so many people have pulled the "they're all the same" bs that it's caused some jading when it comes to dem critique.

Not at all. The very idea of comparing fascists with Democrats is ridiculous. I was responding to that. That old and arcane line of reasoning today is an excuse for treason by them.

If you want to talk about what could be better about Democrats, I'm for that. The topic of the thread is about that. I did say I was concerned about the tendency of this WH to represent the older generation and not the new. I did not object to the OP, I objected to that stupid trope you trotted out.

You say stupid shit like "Democrats and Republicans are both bad" and expect what? That people would not point out that the size and smell of the Republican pile renders the Democrat one insignificant by comparison?

Can you show me where I compared fascists with democrats and can you show me where I said they were both bad in any sort of comparable manner?
