Biden vs Trump

While you might win some moderate Republicans who dislike Trump, you'll lose a lot more progressives who would have voted for you had you gone farther left. Abandoning the base is what loses Democrats elections.
The narrative that Biden is not left is just bogus. He is just not going to pretend that saying shit you wish you could do is possible to get done. Propaganda is just making people say shit like college kids in their first couple years thinking everything they are saying is something new.

He is the face of the old Democratic Party that sponsored harmful legislation in the 80's and 90's. He has only shown how out of touch he is with the times and he hasn't shown he learned anything in the past 20 years. He ought to retire. Then he can accept a professor's position at a prestigious university where he won't be expected to teach.

Any of the others except Bernie are better than Biden.

I just refuse to get sucked into this reality that somehow the Dem's were the establishment in the 80s and 90s. It wasn't until 1984ish that the southern strategy was in full effect. For all recorded history of western civilization the power structure was design by and so focused on what white guys want. There was a lot of ground made up in other human rights in the late 80s and 90s, 2000's and it is still going because there are thousands of years worth of shit to overcome. Because they were not able to get everything done in such a relatively small amount of time and did things that eventually got mangled into something other than what was intended is not enough for me to fault them for it.

the 'not learning anything for the last 20 years' thing to me is nonsense but sounds good. The main things that changed is the 24 hour news cycle that really picked up after 9/11 and everyone having the ability to use the internet to connect with the rest of civilization in seconds from anywhere they go to say anything they want regardless of facts/context.

But like two face said:

A progressive is somebody that supports policies and programs that actively work towards progress. Progress on the Affordable Care Act would be supporting a universal system of healthcare that doesn't leave 30 million Americans behind. Progress on Citizens United would be comprehensive campaign finance reform and eliminating the influence of money in our political system. Progress on criminal justice reform would be decriminalizing all drugs, ending the drug war, retroactively eliminating the fines and time for nonviolent drug offenders, and allowing actual research to be done into the potential benefits of any/all substances. Etc.

What's your point?

Other than that progressives support progress. That's progressive with a small "p"

Bernie supports purity in ideals. He hasn't made a bit of progress.

What do you mean when you say Progressive? That's Progressive with a capital P

?

I don't remember you being this dumb years ago. Are you seeing a medical professional?
I realized how dumb she was when she got angry over a post I made in April 2016 saying that Bernie was badly losing the 2016 primary and if he didn't win big in the next few states he didn't have a chance.

One would have thought that I called her stupid or something but I didn't, I was just citing the numbers and how unlikely it was that Bernie could win. She is stupid though. I can say that with certainty now. Stupid isn't an ability that one gains over the years. You either have it or you don't. Sometimes people give stupids the benefit of the doubt. Like I did back then. She taught me otherwise.
