Black face in America is strongly associated with racism and mockery, it is not necessarily so in other places and cultures, intention is everything in such matters. This is what happens when things are taken out of the proper context and used to present a false and culturally limited narrative of reality. Other racist or callus American politicians were caught in black face, mostly mocking blacks, therefore this must be in the same category, guilt by association for the most part, motivations and intentions are ignored as is any context.

My opinion of him has changed. I see him now as someone other than an image he try’s to portray and I do not appreciate his sense of entitlement.

My nuanced explanation wasn't an excuse, if his intentions weren't honorable I'd be the first to take him to the woodshed, even though I like him, us liberals are like that! We should judge such things by the intentions that underlie them, as we should judge our own thoughts, words and deeds, our intentions shine through in everything we do. I consider myself a liberal and enthusiastically voted for Trudeau in 2015 but I didn’t vote Liberal this past fall.

Your right to vote as ya please, mine too. We've got a minority government and in this situation that appears to be working out pretty well because everybody who fucks up fears accountability and the smart ones will try extra hard to make up for it and learn from it too.
Justin has been passing out a lot of bucks and the tories are ok with it, the economist are screaming at the American government to do it too before an economic catastrophe is triggered and banks start locking up the financial system and going tits up, aka 2008, rents and mortgages are going unpaid and bailing out wall street and not main street won't fly.

Merkle would be my choice, but I hear she likes Justin and I figure if he wanted peer advice, he might just give her a call. I 'd seek the wisest counsel I could find, but I figure he's well advised and most importantly follows it and let's the experts handle the details.
