Common sense can only go so far. If you don't grow, you don't know... regardless of what you've read or think you know.
What do you do if someone takes your advice but it doesn't work? Can you explain what they did wrong? Why it didn't work? Can you offer any alternatives? Can you at least say, "it worked for me in the past." No, you can't even say that.
Hands-on experience with even just one grow will teach you more than a stack of books.

i took a few plants that i cut all the large colas off. nothing but popcorn on them and threw them in the dark corner for about 4 weeks wow i might dry and cur my hole plants like that from now on the popcorn filled out and Crystal up amazing..

I have a serious question for all you masters! If I hang my plant upside down, gravity will pull more crystals into the bud right!? You should all totally do this! I heard from a guy who knows a guy that says this works really well. So you should trust me.

I've been giving answers here this past week. Please don't be offended if my advice didn't work. I am only giving advice because I want to give back to this community. I learned a lot here, so I feel like I should give back. I try not to give bad advice. I only chime in with advice that I truly know works for me, and I try to acknowledge my limitations. Besides, another great way to learn is to teach others. I keep myself open to what everyone is saying too. I hope a few bad apples don't keep this whole community from exchanging ideas.

Props...its not so much that...its people who come here tellin folk they bred upteen strains and have countless growing knowledge....then someone comes by and blows the whistle on them sayin they really only have one grow...im not gonna mentiopn any names here....but Hazey Grapes did just that

This is not an ambiguous, amorphous pseudo-science; it's basic botany. What the OP and others of us get so bent out of shape over is noobs that have never grown a single plant giving false information to other noobs because of *their* ego. This is not about my ego; hell I don't even consider myself a "great" grower - not by a long shot. I do have a dozen or so grows under my belt and I've picked up a lot of information from people like Al B. Fuct, Uncle Ben, Heath Robinson, Earl, and several others.
